Cameron's POV (When they entered the cabins)

The second we all walked through the door, our jaws literally dropped. The cabin was so cool. This summer was going to be great! A whole summer away from family with just my best friends. Who could ask for anything better? I had a feeling this was going to be a big summer. I didn't know why but it seemed like something important was going to happen. I will just have to wait and see.

Since Lauren knew her way around, she gripped her bags and took off for the stairs. As she ran off, she yelled back to us while we were standing confused at the door. "Girls rooms up the stairs on the right, guys room on the left!"

Lauren was probably half way up to her room by the time everyone tore up the stairs towards their assigned rooms. The girls giggled as they were tripping on their bags and running into each other. We guys, on the other hand, were all very competitive. No giggling came from our mouths, luckily. Plus, we all had only about two duffel bags as opposed to the girls suitcases and purses and duffel bags and all the bags that girls insist they "need."

I ran off, pushing Bryce out of my way, and earning the lead spot. With us, everything turned into a competition. Those terrible years of cross country actually paid off. I lunged up the steps, taking 3 at a time. Bryce was close at my heals but he wasn't as athletic as I was. I obviously was going to win. Yes!

As my thoughts slowly went back to my surroundings, I found I was in the doorway of our room. I was more impressed with it than I thought I would be. A room this fantastic at a camp was almost unreal. It was better than my room at home, and I got to live in it for the whole summer with all of my best friends around.

I started to unpack I was wondering if the girls were having as much fun as I was. I was having a blast. Since I was the first one up to the room, I picked the bed closest to the window. Who knows if I would need to sneak out at night to meet with someone. Maybe Lauren and I would think of some amazing prank to pull on the others. And I know we would do something to them

throughout the course of the summer. I would have to get out without them knowing! Or get back in. Trust me, I think about these things!

While I was unpacking, Nathan and Seth had come into the room and just started wrestling on the bed. Of course that meant nothing to us, that was completely normal. Luke walked in to see what all the noise was. I knew by the look on his face he was going to join in. I didn't want to get left out so naturally I jumped on top of Bryce the second he walked into the room. And thus began the first wrestling match of the summer.

Bryce was the first to actually get hurt. Seth's foot came flying as he was shoved by Luke onto the bed and collided with Bryce's stomach. He grunted and fell onto the floor. Well, I was still on his back. We both fell in a heap onto the floor. I had to get away from these guys!

As well as I could, I crawled across the room on all fours. I had to dodge the feet and bodies of all my friends as they continued their fake fighting. I made it to the door of the balcony and quickly got myself onto the other side of the door. I slammed it and started laughing as I leaned back.

Before I knew it, the events of the past day had caught up to me and I ended up falling asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up very confused. Why was sitting against the door on the balcony? I pulled out my phone to see that I had been asleep for about an hour. Wow! I didn't think I had been that tired. I stood up and stretched. Turning around I remembered why I had escaped to the balcony. I opened the door and saw that all the guys had fallen asleep in all different spots in the room sometime after their wrestling. I decided to go ahead and wake them up. We had things to talk about before this summer started.
