Cameron's POV

We all walked out the door and down the hill that the cabin rested on top of. Seth was right in front of me walking alongside Hope. He was continuing to praise her on her great one-liner. As they turned to look at each other I could see the biggest grin on his face. They were walking as close as possible. It looked as if their bodies were glued together. That boy has got it bad for her!

My thoughts were interrupted by someone jumping onto my back and wrapping their arms around my neck to keep themselves up. I immediately gripped onto the underside of their thighs to keep them from falling. I could just tell by how light they were and the faint laughter in my ear.

It was Lauren. She removed her arms from where they were gently laying around my neck to cover her mouth to keep giggles from spilling out.

"What the heck?" I exclaimed, spinning in circles in a fake attempt to be able to see who I was being forced to carry. I heard her gasp and she wrapped her arms around my neck quickly to avoid her falling backwards. I stopped spinning and her loud laugh filled the air around us. I couldn't prevent myself from laughing along with her.

The rest of the group, who had been walking ahead of us, stopped to watch our little scene with their eyebrows raised. The guys all gave me a wink and knowing smirks before continuing their journey forward. The girls, on the other hand, all continued to watch Lauren and I. I don't understand what it is with girls and people watching but they sure do it a lot.

I managed to twist my head around and look at Lauren. Her chin was rested on my left shoulder and she had a big grin on her face. I lean toward her and give her a small kiss on the cheek. She responds by burying her head in my shoulder, but not before I can see the blush creeping onto her face. I shrug my shoulder in an attempt to get her to look up.

"Hey," I said. "You know you're cute when you blush." She brought her head up and I exaggeratedly winked. She laughed and sat up higher on my back.

"Well shucks. How sweet are you?"

"Like a Reese's peanut butter cup." I replied instinctively. This was kind of our phrase. I don't remember how or when we started saying it but its been going on for a good year now.

The girls had proceeded to find their adventure partner and head off to explore while Lauren and I had been standing, well I was standing with her on my back still, in the same spot.

"Now, do you have any future plans that include getting off my back or am I supposed to carry you around all day?"

A thinking look spread over her face and she looked up toward the sky. "Well, it's pretty comfy up here. I might just hang here until you pass out from sheer exhaustion and I am forced to walk." This girl will be the death of me. She laughed and wiggled around. "I guess I can get off." She sighed and jumped down.

As we stood side by side, she linked our arms together and looked up at me.

"To explore?" She asked. I knew exactly what was about to happen. Cue musical reference.

"To explore!" I exclaimed and we started to skip and sing.

"We're off to explore the campgrounds. Our wonderful new summer home. We hear it is a magical place if ever a place there was! If ever oh ever a place there was, the magical camp is one because because because because because BECAUSE. Because of the wonderful place it is. Doo do doot doo do dot dooooooo. We're off to explore the campgrounds! Our wonderful new summer home!"

And just like that we had transformed a normal persons activity to one that resembled the Wizard Of Oz. The power of musical theatre people was not to be taken lightly. It comes in extreme cases and every person at that camp had the worst!
