"A break? But we just got a full sentence!" Dustin objects, "We can't stop now!"
"Just for a few minutes." Says robin "I mean look. Y/n's brain is all fried"
"Hey!" While a little offended, you couldn't hold in a smile. It was a little funny.

“So, you know sign language?” Robin asks as she sits next to you. Handing you ice cream.
“Yeah! I learned it cause there was a kid in my class who was hard of hearing,” I respond “Plus it was a long summer.’’
In actuality, you were lying. You only knew the alphabet. Although, yes that kid did in fact exist. Only they were at school for the last bit of the year before they moved. You only had them in one class but tried to learn anyway since your dad wouldn't let you hang out with your friends. You were apparently grounded for "not coming home in time" even though that never mattered before. So it was more of a half lie than anything.
"Oh? Did you get grounded or something?" Robin asked
"Yeah I just didn't get home before curfew haha" you laughed.
"Back when you lived in the city, right?"
"Wha-? How'd you -?" You stuttered out confused. How did she know? Did you mention it before? No, this is the first time this has come up besides if you wanted sprinkles with your ice cream. Was she stocking you? If so, maybe you have to reevaluate your whole crush thing. (Or maybe not if you into that.) Wait what?
"Steve told me. Don't worry I'm not a stalker." She said snapping you out of your thoughts and reading your thoughts.
Oh right, Steve.
"How was it there?" She asks before a silence could settle.
*Well, it was… oh shit-" before you could finish your sentence your ice cream fell on the floor.. and your shirt. "Ah shit, I'll clean it up. You can start figuring out the code again."
You get up. "Where's the bathroom?"
"Somewhere, down there" as she points to the door that leads to the back.
"Thank you!" You say as you scurry down the hall
