|Third Person POV|

Sonic groans as he felt someone was touching him again he immediately started to fight throwing his arms before stopping in realization that it was just his husband, his alpha and he just calms down, blinks before letting out a sigh in relief.

"Your safe Babe" Scourge said just pulling Sonic into a kiss.

Sonic kissing him back before just letting out a purr feeling the green hedgehog kisses his bump "I...tried, but he over power him..."

"Ssh it's okay I'm just glad that I could stop him before he could do more harm to you...and the twins" Scourge admits hugging Sonic from behind and just planting kisses on the blue hedgehog's shoulders just calming his husband down. "Thanks to your Sister she cleaned you up and told me, I had my guesses of who it could've been"

"I didn't know he had something against you..." Sonic said just taking a hold of Scourge's hand so that their rings were touching, Sonic hadn't really noticed the emerald stones that were embedded into his ring he was gonna have to look deeper and closer at the rings now after all the fake ring was a surprise itself.

"A lot of people do...Sonic but I told Sally about those people so she has Nicole deal with it" Scourge responded he just lets out a growl "It's one thing to hurt me...but hurt someone that doesn't involve what I did wrong is not a rule for me"

"But doesn't that mean your friends?"

"No Blue I'm talking about than those backstabbers"

Sonic only nodded leaning into Scourge just a little tired still and a little sick to his stomach his ear twitches when hearing the sound of birds and the tress rustling his eyes just look out to see the lake and the field of flowers and grass, with some dogwood trees with white flower petals flowing in the wind. When did he get outside? It doesn't  matter being out in the fresh air, he just smiles.

"Thought maybe you could use a break outside of the castle, I just noticed you've stressed lately"

"I guess, just a bit negative cause of everyone preventing me from doing things because of this damn pregnancy" Sonic grumbles.

Scourge only chuckles "We are only looking out for you" he said pulling Sonic off of him to get up and helps the azure hedgehog up to his feet.

"Where are we going?"

"To lunch, I were passed out for most of the morning"

"Oh...Sorry I guess I was really tired" Sonic didn't get an okay before he was pulled towards the direction that Scourge was walking, he was rather curious where Scourge was taking him for lunch hopefully it has delicious dessert there his just started drooling thinking about the dessert choices, maybe ice cream, cake, or something chocolate related.

|Sonic's POV|

I was holding Scourge's hand I really hope I didn't ruin our date at lunch I just didn't realize I was so hungry, but then again I'm eating for three. Just feels nice to get out of the castle and walking back to the castle it really does help out with my joints. I just hope I'm doing a good job with keeping the pups healthy and myself.

I just don't want to go back to that, feeling like my life doesn't matter an because Eggman is gone.

"Did you get enough to eat Babe?" Scourge asked me snapping me out of my thought

"Um...C-Can we get some frozen yogurt?"

Scourge only chuckles "As long as you share if we get a big bowl"

I just smile and nod, I just hope I can get some that mini brownies and a one of every flavor.

|Scourge's POV|

I just feel like I hadn't really treated Sonic to anything since we have been dating and now that he's pregnant I just thought that maybe this could help make up for everything that happened...

As for Drago, he got what he deserved for do that to Blue, It's one to hurt me, cause I can handle it but to the only person that exactly cares about me.

I know that people and Mobians are staring at us while we ate at both places, I don't care about them let this watch it just makes me feel stronger about my relationship, though I do know that this does bother Blue but he just really doesn't need to be a shut in anymore.

I get it he's the hero but it only matters what he thinks about himself than what other people think.

I know it's probably because he'd like to be a good role model for others, he was kind of like that to me which is why I just wanted to see him suffer the way that I did, instead I was only hurting myself instead of him the most.

A sigh escape from my mouth he's lucky that I care about him and the twins that I'd literally take a beating for him to just keep him safe.

Damn Blue you are changing me for the better, and I'm not complaining either.

|Third Person POV|

Sonic was just happily eating his frozen yogurt, he did do his best with ignoring people looking at him, was he really that noticeable for being pregnant, come on Sonic don't think that it only matters what you think...he tries to remind himself, he didn't realize that he was making a mess with his eating he'll worry about it later he was always a messy eater when it came to chili dogs and other foods, he'd be so glad to know when the twins are born he can go back to eating his favorite food again, the thought of it just made his tail wag about it, though today was the day that it be the end of his first trimester of pregnancy. It felt like it's been a year for the hedgehog, that's how he felt. Is this how every woman felt when they are pregnant? Or was it amazing for them. To him it was nothing torture and some days he wish he could just strangle Scourge for putting something like a parasite into him.

Scourge was just walking Sonic back to the castle, they been out here long enough, he just wanted to treat his husband to a wonder day out, to get him to stop thinking about that event and this situation, and himself well he needed some time away from the castle he just felt trapped because of Sonic's needs though he knew it wasn't the hedgehog's fault but both of there hormones, he did read that an alpha and his mate are expecting the alpha literally while know if his mate needs him for something or in pain. The green hedgehog just sighs at least he's able to go outside at night when the hedgehog is asleep, it doesn't help that guards keep an eye on him when he's outside though they do have their reasons to be, the green hedgehog always had a problem when wanting to start something but with Drago that urge was a good time since he got back at the dragon that took an advantage of his husband. He was also ready for the hell that the second trimester for Sonic.
