Not a Bad Guy

Scourge was getting a little better, he was still struggling with feeling happy...or rather showing he was happy but when he was around his husband he showed more emotion of being happier with the blue blur, but when he was with Nicole his expression changed to being bitter and cold towards the Lynx thought the AI can just knew that Scourge would would rather be around him more than the AI.

Sonic noticed that Scourge was doing better, he was only struggling with trying to get the hedgehog to eat, he understood starving yourself to just get attention is something Scourge had done before to just get the blue hedgehog to come to his aid to help the green hedgehog out but the hedgehog needed to get around that he feed himself. The azure hedgehog was just eating the meal that was brought to him, he was rather a victim of himself for not eating cause he was so concerned about Scourge and didn't eat until the green hedgehog started to eat, but since he was eating for three it can do him more harm.

"Can I have these off now?" Scourge asked holding up his arms that were still trapped in the handcuffs.

"Are you gonna hurt yourself again?"

Scourge was silently and looks down at his arms at the new and old track marks from him just digging his nails into his his skin and just scratching at them to just pile away the skin to make his wounds bleed he just lets out sighs.

"Then no"

Sonic just lets out a sigh himself, he is able to get exercise of course even if it's to check up on that gift that he was planning on giving Scourge when he successfully gets through the detoxing of the Cocaine that was in his system but as the same time this detoxing was really giving him a headache and just angry at the green hedgehog, and he really was struggling to keep himself calm and just yell at Scourge for getting them into this mess and how much he is hurting because of this so he had stepped out of the dungeon and the castle to calm down cause of the fresh air.

"I love you" Scourge said just noticing that the azure hedgehog was suffering a little bit with the pregnancy hormones, the blue blur just smiles a little bit before just just giving Scourge his reward for saying those words, at least he's starting to understand that Scourge means that those words mean something now.

A yawn escapes Sonic's lips, he's tired very tired because of Scourge's whimpering and begging for drugs which was keeping the blue hedgehog away, he just slumps to the his head resting on the concrete wall of the cell, he just drifted off to sleep.

Scourge only nuzzles into the blue hedgehog's bump purring softly, and just presses his ear to his husband's stomach to hear his kids' heartbeat it was a relaxing thing to him as well as listening to Sonic's heartbeat as well this just made him feel loved at the moment he really cared about his unborn pups and Sonic.

"So Scourge do you still believe Cocaine will make you happy? Or?" Nicole started looking at the green hedgehog.

Scourge only frozen "W-Why can't I have both?"

"Because if you continue with taking this drug you'll never live long enough to see you kids grow" Nicole admits. The green hedgehog only blink before he could feel the tears form in the corner of his eyes, he still needed that Cocaine it was that rush that he need. But at the same time he still wanted to be around Sonic and his kids.

"Well Scourge?"

Scourge only looks up at his sleeping husband then at the needles that Nicole was holding he knew they were empty after all she used that trick on him when he was in his first state of detoxification. "Sonic is better than drugs..." he finally admits.

"Say it like you mean it Scourge, you know I'd don't believe you when you are unsure of yourself!" Nicole growled at Scourge "Now Tell me Does Cocaine make you happy?"

"No It doesn't! It just causes me pain and misery!"

"And?"

"And What?"

Nicole just gently shakes Sonic awake, which the blue hedgehog just makes a noise opening his eyes "I'm awake..." the blue hedgehog said very tiredly and rubs his eyes.

"You husband has something to say to you" Nicole said.

Sonic turns his attention to Scourge and his ears perked up to listen to the green hedgehog.

"Sonic...You mean a lot to me, and I'm so sorry for keeping my addiction hidden from you. I was still afraid of becoming something like my father, and I just wanted to be happy for you, seeing you happy is what makes me happy, at the time I didn't realized that cause of the cocaine...but now I realize that, the drug was only hurting you, hurting me and I'd rather have you be my drug than the really thing, I'm sorry that you had to see me like that, I'm sorry I kept it a secret, I'm sorry that I hadn't realized that the only happiness I needed was you, I don't need the cocaine." Scourge admits.

Sonic just sniffs and hugs Scourge "We...are a fucking mess...Scourge, as angry as I was getting because of your damn addiction...I just can't be without you" the azure hedgehog said, he was really gonna need to have Scourge take a shower, since he's been down in the dungeon cause he couldn't be trusted cause of his constant whining and begging of his cocaine, but this moment was enough for the hedgehog, he just pulls away from Scourge, and just smacks the green hedgehog hard across his face. Catching Nicole off guard and the green hedgehog with a red handprint on his cheek. "Don't you ever and I mean EVER do this shit again!!" The blue hedgehog growled at Scourge.

Scourge only blinks that smack was one hell of a wake up call that he needed and it was one genuine that he needed to, he knew Sonic was that one person that had some back bone to him it just takes a lot to get him to really want to use it and he's glad he could be the to see it first hand.

Nicole just unlocks the handcuffs that was around the green hedgehog's wrists.

Scourge just pulls the blue hedgehog into a hug and just holds him tight his ears pinned to his head and just softly started to cry into his husband he just really missed holding the blue blur in his arms and just kisses the blue hedgehog passionately.

Sonic who was still angry with Scourge because of this situation but he really missed his brave hedgehog and being held by him, but he kisses the green hedgehog back and hugging him back.

Nicole only smiles and unlocks the cell door for them whenever they are ready to come out of the dungeon she just gives a thumbs up to the camera before she just disappears with the empty needles she still didn't trust Scourge was truly clean tho but this is a good place to start.
