Okay, if you're anything like me, you're kinda iffy on the whole face claim idea - and it being in the beginning is a big nono. I, personally, think it ruins the reader's own visual of the character and is a lazy excuse for the writer not to describe their characters (I've come across that several times on here).

I have come to see that comparing images at the end isn't so bad though.

Putting together what I see of the character from what the author had described then comparing it to the images they have at the ending can be interesting. It also allows the reader to choose whether or not they want to see them or not as well.

Now, I have a mix of images, considering I had made up these old collages then over time found new stuff. Some I have multiple pictures for while others I might have one or two. Unlike some other writers, when I first wrote 'Shy Walking Shadows', I wasn't using movie stars or musicians as inspiration behind their looks. Many were based on people I know in real life while others were completely random details pieced together, then others that essentially made themselves as they built themselves as I wrote out the story.

Wait, I take that back, there is one that is based on a person that I knew at the time to be an actress; Lady - She was loosely modeled after Ruby Rose.

This was the old collage that was made, then I found artbreeder and made this:

While still not exactly what I picture, it's closer as it's made from a picture of the person the character is based from. The green eyes would be brighter, eyebrows thicker, face a little more 'rugged'(scarred from overall life and past facial piercings(before her Change anyway)). There of course would be the natural colored streaks in her hair, not to mention the silver.
