I was working on a patients leg, and feeding her ambrosia, till I had more strength to heal her, when Kayla came in. "Will! Someone wrote you a note!" She exclaimed as she showed me the letter

You make me smile without even saying anything.

Heat rose to my face. Who wrote this? I snatched the letter from Kayla to have a closer look. no name.

"Looks like someone has a secret admirer" she teased as she pushed me lightly in the shoulder.

"Who could it be from?" I asked as I folded the letter and put into the back pocket of my jeans.

  "Why do you think I know!" She argued. Who could this be from? It seems to be someone I've at least talked to? Piper might know! I should go talk to her

  "I'm gonna go for a minute can you cover my shift?" Before she could respond with"no what the hell" I ran away to Pipers cabin. She was sitting on her bunk and about half her cabin was in their.

"Will!" She enthused.

"Hey Pipes! I have some tea" I admitted as I took out the note from my pocket and unfolded it. She snatched the note out of my hand and read it.

  "Ooo will" she giggled. "Who do you think it's from" I questioned. She shrugged.

"it could be anyone. Who have you been hanging out with recently?" uh. I had to think about this one. Me, Kayla and Austin watched a movie last night and I've been hanging with Nico as well and Leo. Omg it's Leo!

  "I think it's Leo!" She looked at me puzzled so I explained. "Me and Leo had a hang out two days ago and plus he's not a confrontational guy so he would write a letter without naming it!" Now that I think about it I feel bad. I don't feel the same. I love Leo as a friend but not anything more!

  "No way! I know Leo like the back of my hand and it's not him" She sighed "And plus he just broke up with Cal last week" I needed to get my mind off all of this. Oh I almost forgot she had news too.

  "Wait what was your news?" She blushed a deep red and then sighed.

  "I-I'm dating Annabeth!" She squealed.

  "OMG! Like the one you've liked for like forever" I asked as I started jumping around.

  "Yes that Annabeth! Now stop making a big deal out of it or I'll put you on the list of infirmary patients!" She joked as she sat up.

  "Fine!" I whined.

  "I'll ask around about the note" She insisted as she handed the paper back to me. She grinned at me with her wide mischievous smile.

  "Ekkk we got bitches!" She laughed.

  "Shut up!" I mocked. She fiddled with her shirt "Well I only got a few more minutes till Kayla won't cover for me, so I gotta get back" I sighed.

  "I'll cya later then?" She asked as she sat up hitting her head on the beam of the bunk bed above her. "OW!"

  "Do you need me to take a look at that?" I hesitated.

  "No it's fine I'll cya later will" and with that she walked out and left me in her cabin with a bunch of her sisters. This could go one of two ways. The awkward way or the casual way, And I'm pretty sure I'm not a causal person.

  Now I need a moment to think in solitude before I go back to work I thought. And with that I walked out to the forest to find some peace and quiet when I saw him laying on the floor.

  His ankle was bleeding and so was the side of his head. Judging from the looks of it he had a concussion. "NICO?" I yelled. I bolted to him. Oh gods on Olympus! I picked him up and dashed to the infirmary.
