Shopping, dining at a fast food restaurant and sampling everything new on the menu, discovering new stores that showcase the latest brands and trends. Going to see the latest movie with family and friends or maybe even a romantic evening. That is what star court is all about, the brand new mall that has arrived in Hawkins, where everyone is constantly buzzing around to view the Latest advertisement.
Others, however, disagree with the brand-new mall, which stands out for everyone and is easily accessible, just like the stores they had before. Why did they need to construct a big fancy mall that gleams brighter than the sun when they already had everything they required?
Kathleen Munson was not thrilled to be dragged into the mall by her cousin to eat ice cream until a certain employee grabs her attention. She still despises the horrible mall, but someone makes it all worth it.
When a curly-haired child begins to investigate a mysterious radio call in the mall, Kathleen is lured into a fast-paced adventure. Featuring a former king, a nerd, a demanding girl, and a rebellious girl with a kind heart.
Kathleen realised...perhaps she had been correct about the mall after all.
