b i l l y :

You happened to be thrown in detention for skipping school. Consequently, so did Billy, for the exact same reason. The teacher had to leave for some stupid reason, leaving two awkward teenagers behind. Not wanting it to be awkward, you started some small talk with the boy. He was a hard cookie to crack, so he gave you dry, simple answers. You started to get detention purposely, seeing he was there every week. Let's just say, he "reluctantly" became your friend.

There was a school field trip, for hiking. You were excited, until you found out that you were assigned to some random student. You found out who it was when the Breyer's were picking on him for being left out, since he can't walk properly. You scared them away and helped him on the whole hike. He was very grateful, and he was happy to find a new friend that listened to him.

You would rollerblade at the park everyday while listening to music. You wouldn't really care about everyone else, until you noticed a boy around your age that would take his little sister to the park to play. He would sit on the bench right by the sidewalk. Usually, you would ignore him, until you saw him more often, you would start to wave. Then finally, when you gained enough courage, you sat and talked with him. With the mutual love of music, you two quickly became friends.

It was the summertime, and you wanted to get a side job, just to save money. You became a librarian, mostly organizing books and hanging out at the register. There weren't many people there, so you noticed when a beautiful girl started coming in almost everyday. You would only talk to her when she had questions, but she still intrigued you. You decided when she was checking out books, you slid your number in her book. Later, you got a text message.
