Sketches scratched,
Words scrawled,
My feelings,
Onto papers fall.
Cheerful memories,
Of sunshine and smiles,
Long stretches of beach,
That go on for miles.
Memories of depression,
Days of sorrow and rain,
Hidden in the dark,
Trying to heal the pain.
Anxiety attacks,
Anger and rage,
Me struggling to keep,
The beast inside the cage.
