Amelia limped through the hallways with her guard/escort leading the way. After walking for about 20 minutes, they stopped in front of a pale green door, with the word "Infirmary" in blue bubble letters. The guard wordlessly knocked on the door, and a man called from inside "Come on in!" The guard opened the door and nudged Amelia into it. She limped into the room, and found it was rather large, with pale green walls, painted with trees and beautiful leaves. The room was rectangular, with 6 medical cots on each side of the wall. There were two doors that were closed, and one was painted blue, the other a darker green. The blue one had 𝘋𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳'𝘴 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 written on it. The green one had 𝘌𝘹𝘢𝘮 𝘙𝘰𝘰𝘮. A man came out of the exam room, smiling broadly. His hair was dark brown, and ridiculously curly. His skin was light brown, and tanned. He had dark brown freckles that covered the bridge of his nose. "Hey! It's nice to meet you! I'm Dr. Eden, but everyone just calls me Doc. What's your name? I don't think I have seen you around here..." Amelia stammered a bit, surprised. "U-um my name is Amelia... and I just got here..." "Oh, okay that makes sense. You are probably here for a check-up not to sit around. Come on, Amelia." said the doctor, emerald eyes sparkling. They entered the Exam room, and Amelia sat down on the exam table, and had the sudden urge to kick her legs. She mentally scolded herself. The man wore a stethoscope, and doctors coat, before walking over to her. "Why don't you go ahead and lie down?" he soothed. Amelia did, wincing as she moved her foot. The doctor's hands went there first, being incredibly gentle. "Okay, it's just dislocated. I'll pop it back into place. He did, and it was not nearly as painful as she would expect. After that, he brought the stethoscope to her chest. "Deep Breath, Amelia" he said. She shivered as he checked her over. He wrapped a brace around her ankle, and gave a satisfied smile. "That should be it for the human form... can you shift on will yet?" "No... I have only done it once." "That's okay. Here, drink this." the doctor said, handing her a glass bottle the size of her palm. She drank it down, and suddenly she was on the ground again. This time she inspected her padded feet, feeling the thick fur. She swished her tail and then realized that SHE HAD A TAIL. This was so weird. But undeniably awesome. The doctor measured her height, weight, and strength. "Okay, time to get you to your new home." he said

Amelia turned that sentence over, processing it. She had a home now. Even if it was weird as the idea of an elephant seal.
