A/N: Okay, so this is from the point of view that is Amelia's roomate, Loki.

Loki woke up, a single thought running through her head. Run. The same furious thought she had when she ran away. Away from her father. Her father with over the top expectations-away from the vicious blows. Shakily, she forced herself to get up. Focus on the present, she thought furiously. The kid in her room- well technically both of their room's, was new. A feline shifter. That was fairly uncommon. But not unheard of, for a girl.

But a wolf, like Loki? Especially in a girl, that was shocking. She had tried to make conversation earlier, but Loki had ignored the majority of it. She checked her watch. 4:30 am. There was no way she'd be able to catch some sleep. Throwing on a simple shirt, pants, and coat, I walked out of my room. Heading to the cafeteria, I was able to snag some coffee.

When I got back to the room, the girl was still lying down, asleep. I studied her face, noting the tiny freckles that were almost like stars. Her hair was fluffy and the red-orange color was gorgeous. She was honestly very cute- god no! What am I thinking! My dad would kill me... literally! I quickly deflected my attention from her, and got to work on some of my extra credit work for maths. Maths and English are the most mundane classes ever. I am fairly good at them, but I excel at more diverse topics, such as natural history, fencing ( it's a sports elective), and astronomy. I was setting down my pencil and sipping coffee when the redhead woke up.

She let out this huge yawn, that ended in a purr, making me turn around. I snorted when I saw the fluffy white-gray fur tufted on her cheeks. She must have partially shifted in her sleep. "Good Morning!" she chirped in a voice that was way to chirpy for 7 in the morning. "That's an opinion." I replied. "What?" "It's a good morning. That's an opinion." "Um... okay? I take it that this means you're talking to me now?" she inquired. "I talked yesterday. It's not like I'm mute." "Right, so I don't even know you're name?" "... Loki." "Nice! What animal do you shift into?" "That is confidential." "Whyyyyy?" "Because I said so!"
