Demi's pov:

The sun is beating off my back, making me slightly uncomfortable, since I'm wearing a black crop top and tight black slacks. Probably not the smartest fashion idea of the day but I had to look perfessional today.

Today is truly a beautiful day out, the birds chirping, the sky a deep radiant blue with no clouds in sight, the sun high in the sky unforgiving to those who burn easily and a blessing to those who don't like me.

That was the least of my worries though, getting to the orphanage to perform was on my list of things to do. I wanted them to experience such a tragic but beautiful site of those who have less than what they need, banding together to survive

The girls (fourth harmony) had invited me on their tour, just as an opening act in order for me to get back into music. I was in the hospital for a while, after coming back I had released an album in order for the lovatics to get an inside view of me. That didn't turn out so well. After the tour that I was originally supposed to go on my best friend Jessica had passed away. Leaving me. But that's a story for another time.

At sunnyville adolescent children's home, will be our first show to kick off our six month long tour. As the orphanage was only down the street form our hotel we were currently residing in, we decided to walk with our body guards behind us giving us the allusion of privacy and normalcy, which was pathetic we could hear the paparazzi trying to get a rise out of us. But we remained strong. Or we pretended to give off that vibe.

I could see the old gray sign telling us that we were in fact here. Shit, it looks worse than what's in the brochure that I Jessica had left me.  Swallowing the lump in my throat, I stopped and turned towards the girls.

"Alright guys we need to be professional and mature. We can't be messing around ok?" I asked trying to hide my nerves. I'm hiding something from the girls, I'm here for another reason as well. I wanted to adopt someone that's been my plan ever since m y friend had mentioned it roughly a year ago when I again was at my rock bottom without anyone knowing besides her. She always knew, having known me my whole life. I didn't know who as in I didn't know what gender yet but I knew that I wanted to change someones life for the better.

"Demi when are we not mature?" Stated the youngest of us all with a goofy smile across her nude face, we decided against makeup for today wanting to show the real us, while hanging off the tallest one in what is known as a Camila hug. Also known as a koala hug. I gave Camila the, "'I'm not joking around' look."

I saw Camila swallow whatever remark she was going to say, smart choice, "We'll be mature." Camila jumped off of Dinah with a grimace, she didn't land smoothly, which isn't news to anyone that knew her. Patting off her ass from the dust she collected with that graceful fall. She turned towards Dinah who had her full undivided attention towards me.

"Ok now that's been settled let's go in and show them a good time." Said Dinah who was the third oldest.

Ally the oldest of us all, went in first and ushered us in behind her with a small smile. She went to go check us in and let them know we were here and almost ready to start.

I could smell mothballs and dirty cat litter but there was no cat in sight. The place is run down, curtains drawned, no light coming in, with the heavy smell of mildew overwhelming us. This place was really depressing. I couldn't imagine living here.

There were a lot of teenagers just chilling on what seem to be an old beaten down leather couch. In total there was (from what I read about this place) around ten kids here but I could only see nine of them.

Turning around I could see the girls besides Ally who was talking to the caregiver, talking to the teenagers in sight.

That's when I saw a little girl with her knees to her chest and her head down, she looked no more than eleven at most. But I knew she had to be older since this facility held only teenagers not little children. This girl had long wavy brown hair that cascaded down her small frame, and from what I could see porcelain skin, so beautifully pale. The young girl was really tiny; smaller than both Ally who was 5 feet, and Camila who was 5 foot 2 inches and both weighed just a little under a hundred pounds.
