Y/N POV:
I was just laying in the bed, staring at the wall. I was lost in thought when the door opened and Detective Lee walked inside.
"Morning Y/N." He said.
"Morning." I said.
"Morning to you too Taehyung." He said, looking at Taehyung.
"Morning sir." Taehyung said.
Detective Lee walked next to my bed and sat down in the chair. He looked upset about something.
"You look like you got some bad news." I said.
"I'm afraid I did." He said. "Do you know a girl named Lisa?" He asked.
"Yeah, she's a friend. Why?" I said.
"I'm sorry but she was found dead." He told me.
"What? Where?" I asked, tears building up in my eyes.
"She was found inside her car outside your home. And her heart is missing." He told me.
"No. No, that can't be true. She can't be dead." I said, crying.
"I'm sorry Y/N." He said.
"Everyone's getting hurt because of me. It's Jungkook doing this. He's killing everyone that I care about." I said.
"This is not your fault Y/N. This is on Jungkook, not you." He said, grabbing my hand.
"He's probably going after my parents next. What if he hurts my daughter too? She's only three." I said.
"Don't think those things Y/N. It'll just make you more upset. We don't know if he is going to hurt them. But we'll keep that from happening." He said.
"Of course he's going to try to hurt them. He wants to get rid of anyone that will get in his way." I said.
"You don't know that for sure. I don't want you jumping to conclusions." He said.
I looked down knowing he's right. I shouldn't be torturing myself with those thoughts.
"I know and I'm trying not to but I can't help but think that." I said. "I just him to stop. I can only handle so much." I said.
"I know and we're trying all we can to catch him." He said, squeezing my hand.
"I know you are Detective." I said, faintly smiling. "I just can't believe she's dead. Jungkook never cut someones heart out though. That's different. And what is he going to do with it?" I said.
"That we don't know. But as soon as we know, you'll know." He said.
"Thank you Detective Lee." I said.
"You can call me Dae-Jung." He said.
"Okay, thank you Dae-Jung." I said.
"Here's my number. If something happens or you have anything you think is important, you call me and I'll come. Okay?" He said, giving me his number.
"I will." I said.
He stood up and walked to the door before I spoke which stopped him.
"Dae-Jung, please stay safe. I don't want anything happening to you too." I said.
"I'll be safe." He said, leaving the room.
"I'm sorry about your friend Y/N. I bet she was an amazing friend." Taehyung said.
"She was. Before you lost your memory, you trusted me around her. She always made sure I was okay." I said. "I miss her. I don't want to believe she's gone forever. And that I'll never see her face again." I said, more tears falling from my eyes.
"She's still with you Y/N. In your heart. She's watching over you from above, guiding you through everything you go through." He said.
"Thank you Taehyung." I said, smiling at him through tears.
The door opened and Taehyungs parents walked inside with Sooyoung.
"TaeTae!" Sooyoung exclaimed, running to him.
"I'm sorry but who are you all?" Taehyung asked.
"TaeTae, it's me. Sooyoung, your little sister." She said, a tear falling down her cheek.
"Y/N, what's wrong with TaeTae?" Sooyoung asked me.
"He lost his memory. He can't remember anything or anyone." I told them.
"Oh my god." His mom said, starting to cry. "Taehyung, I'm your mother and this is your father." She said.
He looked confused at them. He couldn't remember his little sister or his parents. Like he can't remember me and his daughter. But I know it could take time for him to remember. If he gets his memory back. The doctor doesn't know if he will. But he said we could help him remember some things but not all of them.
They stayed here until visiting hours were over. They were trying to help him remember.
"Y/N, how did we meet?" He asked.
"I met you when I was in twelfth grade. You weren't in school since you were the owner of a well-known company. I bumped into you on my way home after finding one of my teachers dead." I said.
"What kind of man was I then?" He asked.
"You were a gentleman, you still are. You found me where Jungkook kept me. You helped me when my best friend died. Because of Jungkook. You didn't rush me to do something I wasn't ready for. Even though it took two years for me to be ready, you still waited. And the day we did it, I got pregnant with Da-eun." I said.
"I wish I can remember all of that. It sounds like I had a great life with you." He said.
"You will. It'll just take some time and I'm willing to wait until you do. I won't rush you Taehyung." I said, smiling at him.
"Thank you Y/N." He said, smiling back. "We better get to sleep. Goodnight Y/N." He said.
"Goodnight Taehyung." I said.
I closed my eyes and fell into a deep sleep with thoughts of the past.
