Saras stared at her dead horse, and Lamos his griffin's foot. He looked for a few seconds, and looked as if he was gonna cry.
"Oh well, I can get another. We must go know." he said, emotionless.
Saras wanted to argue, to fight, but she was afraid Lamos would think she was weak. She bottled up her emotions and responded
"I agree. Lets move."
It was not one minute later that they were captured and cuffed. They were brought before a commander who looked at them and said:
"These are the ones. Take them to the Prince without delay."
They were then put in a cartridge and transported for about an hour. They were then brought out and searched for weapons. They found six knives on Lamos and nothing on Saras. They were then brought before, once again, the Prince.
"Welcome back. The two of you have caused me great stress. And know, you will pay for your
crimes against the royal family." The Prince said, at the end unsheathing his sword. "First the
boy."
The guards brought him forwards and pushed him onto his knees. The prince lifted his sword above his head and brought it down. Just before it hit his neck, Lamos took out a knife, spun around, and deflected the slash. Where did he have that wondered Saras The Prince backed away, startled, but not scared. Then a man from the group of guards lunged forwards, sword drawn. It was the same person Saras had run into the previous day.
Lamos defended himself, but was at the disadvantage. The man had a sword, Lamos only a knife.
"I would like you both to meet Sinclair, my personnel assassin and guard." bragged the Prince.
Sinclair was fast and powerful, much like Lamos. But then Lamos used the basic fire spell. Sinclair was caught off guard. It knocked him back into some of the guards. That's when they charged. Nearly ten guys charged Lamos, none made it out.
After that the only people in the tent were the Prince, Sinclair, Lamos, and Saras. Saras was still in her hand-cuffs, Lamos had gotten out somehow. The Prince, with his sword in his hands, said:
"Very impressive, but you have to remember, just outside this tent lies 10,000 troops. How do
you intend to defeat them? Peasant."
"I won't need to defeat them. I just need to get past them." Lamos said, charging at the prince. He was just about to stab him when the prince ducked. Gal slashed at Lamos but was to slow. He jumped out of the way. Lamos then cut the hand-cuffs off of Saras. Saras than picked up one of the dead guards sword and pointed it at Sinclair. She charged at him but was deflected away and almost cut on the arm. Sinclair then took both Saras and Lamos on while he allowed the High Prince to escape. Then he ran out. Saras started to run after him, but was stopped by Lamos.
"The tent is surrounded. Come out with your hands up!" came yelling from outside.
"What are we going to do?" asked Saras
"Good question." responded Lamos.
