Olivers Birthday part one

You and Randy have been together for a couple months now, and guess what, it's Oliver's birthday October 22nd, and you and Randy are throwing him a suprise birthday party, (I want someone to throw me one so bad irl /srs) you and Randy have got everything you need, the decorations, 12 pack of coke, basically everything you would want at a birthday, also everything is Paw Patrol thing cause he Oliver genuinely likes paw patrol, so you got everything right? Except the cake which you told Randy to get from the bakery, he left about 30 minutes ago and you just got done setting up when you hear Randy come in, slowly, looking small, jacket dirty and cakeless.
"Honey what happened?" You say looking at him,
"I'm sorry when I was walking home I tripped and fell and I dropped the cake and I'm sorry!" He says quickly and worried
"It's okay Randy! We can just kinda make a cake ourselves! It won't be as cool as the Paw Patrol cake but I don't really think Oliver would mind"
"Y/n you know how to make a cake?"
"Well not from scratch, but there's definitely some recipes online for basic ass vanilla cake and I think I have all the ingredients for what I think should be in the cake, and I know how to make frosting!" He looks at you
"Would you mind if I help? Making it seems fun" you nod.
"Of course love, now let's get to work!"
You look up a recipe for vanilla cake and get out all the ingredients, flour, water, yeast?, vegetable oil, water, butter and eggs (sorry idk if that's a real cake recipe I've never made a cake from scratch). "Randy can you grab me the mixer?" He nods and grabs it for you while you added the flour, yeast and butter, he sits the mixer next to you "wanna crack the eggs for me Randy?"
"Sure my sweet!" You hand Randy an egg, he try's to tap it on the counter but taps it too hard and it breaks, he looks at you "omg I'm so sorry let me clean that up!" Before you could say anything he grabs some napkins and walks back to the spot, before he goes to clean it up you ask "Randy, have you ever cooked with eggs?" he looks away
"No I haven't" you look at him and giggle a bit, you can tell how embarrassed he is, "here let me help you" you grab the napkins from him "I'll help you clean this up" you kneel down and clean up the egg on the floor "y-y/n you really don't have to do that!"

Sorry but I'm gonna do this in two parts cause this cause its late asf for me and if I start writing a chapter and don't finish it I won't be able to sleep lmao, but this ideas cool so I wanna reallu write out the process, the part two will be out in 1-2 days so get hyped, and again sorry for the two parts again Ik y'all are thirsting over Randy and need more Randy content.
