I groaned, turning off the song on my alarm clock
I put on a baggy iron maiden shirt and went downstairs to the kitchen
I guess eddie wasnt up yet
Lets see...pancakes? Bacon?
Yea lets do that
I made enough pancakes and bacon for both me and eddie with extra
When i finished eating, i put the rest of the food on a plate and set it in the microwave
Hes not up yet and i dont wanna stay down here and wait
Do i leave a note?

I left the note on the kitchen counter, grabbing a blanket, and went out the back door, venturing to my favorite spot in the woods
I laid down on the blanket, just looking at the sky
The way the trees left the perfect opening to look out
The way the sky was so blue, letting the clouds add a perfect white to it all
It was relaxing, something i, and everyone needed right now

8:00 am
Not a bad time
I put back on the same sweatpants and shirt i wore yesterday and left my room, noticing y/n's door open
I walked downstairs but she was nowhere to be seen, but i saw a note on the counter
"Breakfast in the microwave. Pancakes and Bacon. Out in the forest. - henderson :)" i read, smiling at the way she didnt even sign her first name
I heated up some of the food, finding syrup and coffee at the table, and sitting down
"Oh good. You saw the note." i heard, looking up to see y/n walking down the hallway with a blanket, putting it back into the closet
"Where were you?"
"Did you not read the note?"
"No, I did. I just mean where in the woods." i clarified with a small laugh
"Oh. my favorite spot."
"Will you show me?"
"If youre lucky munson." she said, sending me a small smirk and leaving the kitchen
"Now where are you going?"
"You really are full of questions. Im taking a shower, if you must know."
"Okay. ill clean up down here."
"Oh..thank you." she said with a sincere smile, receiving a nod from me

"try not to make a mess or do something dumb. And stay out of my room and away from my guitar."
"Okay. okay." i said, holding my hands up
"Good. byeee." she said, running up the stairs to her room

I went to my room, grabbing a change of clothes and my towels, making my way to the bathroom
I needed to relax
Usually going to my favorite spot works but for some reason i just couldnt get eddie out of my head
I hate him.
And he hates me.
But this whole trip hes just been so...sweet? Tolerable?
I dont even know how to explain it but especially since last night, he just couldnt escape my mind
I got in the shower, feeling relaxed, but still thinking about him
Its like i needed a day away from him, but i didnt want to stay away from him
My mind is everywhere.
I turned off the water, changing, and walking back to my room

"Im uh, gonna take a shower. Just saying so you know where i am. And dont worry. I didnt make a mess." i told her, watching her throw her head back in a small fit of laughter, making me a bit flustered

"Glad to hear."
"Yeah, um, ill be out in a little." i told her, rushing into my room and closing the door
