Back?!

2 years later

Benjamin's POV:

It's been two years since the incident happened. We haven't seen the lion shifter since which I'm glad about. Me and Devon are now happily mated leading the pack peacefully. Speaking of Devon, where is that big mutt? I get up grabbing a shirt and putting it on seeing how I'm shirtless, and knowing Devon's possessive ass he would be pissed. I sigh with a soft chuckle at the end and walk out of our from. Geez I'm never going to get used to that. I start wondering around the pack house looking for my mate to get head bumped by a bunny? What is a bunny doing here.. I look down at the poor frighten thing and pick it up carefully. It quickly ducked it's head under my head to my neck hiding away like a baby does to it's Mama. Poor thing. My wolf huddled in annoyance and thought about us killing it. I blocked out those thoughts. No way I'm hurting this cutie! I pay it's head gently as I start to new Trail to the woods to release the poor thing. I bend down and put the frightened bunny down as soon as I put it's legs on the ground it ran quicker than I could blink. Once there and now gone. I happily smile at myself that I just saved a bunny. I get up and head back to the pack house.

I walk into the main room of the pack house and sit down on the couch seeing Raya. I smile at her and look down at your stomach. Only a few more months until she is due. "I cant wait to be the best uncle ever." Rays chuckles, "Yeah, yeah. You and your alpha should have some pup's too." I blush like a tomato and hide my face in my hands, just thinking about it.. Him over me. No, no your staying innocent nope. I hear Raya burst out laughing as I thought. I roll my eyes in annoyance. "Oh hush, after your due I bet your mate is gonna be in the mood again, being all like 'Oh Raya please please have sex with me.'" I quote with my fingers making the quoting sign. She looks at me raising her eyebrow. "Excuse me sir, but I ain't doing none do that for a while." We stare at each other in silence, we burst our laughing like two girl teenagers would do at a sleepover telling each other about their crushes. "Soooo, have you figured out what your gonna call your baby girls?". Ah yes i forgot to mention, she is having twin girls! Isn't that cute. She chuckles and looks down at your stomach lovingly as she soothing rubs over your dump. "Yes actually, I was thinking Jess and Kila." I hum in response. "Those are beautiful names Ray." She smiles happily. "My mate picked out Jess's name while I picked out Kila's."

Me and Raya sat there for who knows how long talking for hours. Until we finally noticed that it was getting dark, we said our goodbyes and went to our separate rooms. I open the door and step in, I hear the shower running so I'm guessing Devon is back from where ever he was. I silently close the door and grab some shorts and one do Devon's hoodies and start to change. I jump at the cold wet hands touching my sides. "Devon?" I hear a hun in response. I turn around to see Devon's sleepy eyes, I chuckle softly and kiss his cheek softly, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. "Where did you go today?" His eyes light up quickly but then disappeared in a blink of an eye. "Nothing much, just my Father wanted to speak with me about Alpha stuff and meetings, blah blah blah." I chuckle. He gives me a quick peck on the lips and lets go of my waist as I do to his shoulders. I quickly get done getting dress and snuggle into our bed. Mm.. our.

I feel the bed tip in a bit and I turn around seeing Devon move closer so we can cuddle, I happily take the offer and cuddle into his chest. I might be tall but he is taller sadly.. not really sadly.

I yawn opening my eyes to feeling the warmth of the sun beating on my skin. I snuggle closer to Devon trying to go back to sleep but sadly fail. So I finally open my eyes and yawn, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. I lay my chin on Devon's chest looking up at him peacefully sleep. He is gorgeous. I sigh contently as I admire my mate as he sleeps. He slowly starts to open his eyes and lets out a long big loud. He sleepily looks down at me and smirks. "Can't even keep your eyes off of me while I sleep huh?" I growl in annoyance and hit his chest, he lets out a chuckle and kisses me softly on the lips. Which I happily kissed back smiling softly. We break apart when we realized. 'Oh yeah we need air to kinda like live'

"Benben?" I hum in response to the nickname he had given to me. "Can you dress nicely this afternoon and meet me by the River in the woods?" I look up in question, turning my head to the side. "What for?"

"You'll see." He smiled down at me.

"Hmmm.., fine. But like a full ass suit or-" I get a small tap from him as he chuckles. "You know what I mean you goofball." I leaned up and placed a gently kiss on his forehead while smiling uncontrollably. "What time?"

"Hmm, around 6 pm."

"Okay see you at 6 pm." He frowns. "What we can't see each other right now?" I chuckle at his pouting face and lay down again cuddling him tightly. "Yes, we can see each other right now."

"Shit Raya I dont fucking know what's fancy?! I suck at picking clothes! It's 5:40 pm, we literally have 20 minutes." I'm currently freaking out because I have no idea what to wear.. after 3 hours. "Woah, wOaH calm down. I got you." She gets up holding her stomach and walks over to my closet and picks out some outfits. "Okay try these." She lays down two different outfits, one being a white button up shirt with black slacks. The other one being a red formal shirt, with dark blue jeans. I try them on and we went with the red formal shirt and dark blue jeans. Because that's what looked best. It's 5:50 pm, I'm currently heading over there. Why did he even ask me to go over here so suddenly? I start to overthink on what's going to happen. I finally realize I'm here and Its 5:58 pm. I start to see his figure show from the shadows as he walks to me and holds his hand over for me. I gladly take it and follow him to wherever he is taking us to.

"Where are we exactly going?" I tilt my head while I question him. "Don't worry we are almost there." He says without looking back, it's starting to get dark as the sun starts to set. My eyes start to adjust to the dark as we stop. I look at him confused and look around where we are. As my eyes adjust I see the most beautiful thing ever. Flowers everywhere, a blanket on the ground on a large rock in the middle. Firelights everywhere you can look, and the sun setting. I was amazed that I forgot Devon was even here. I finally snap out of my thoughts as I'm being dragged by Devon to the blanket. I smile tilting my head a bit. "You did this?"

He happily smiles at me with his teeth, "mhm do you like it?". I look at him in question, "Did you just ask me if I liked it? I love it." I had him in worry for a minute that soon turned into relief.

Devon's POV:

Okay you got this. We are here watching the now glowing moon and sparking stars above, ate all the food I had brought. Time to pop the question. I sigh worriedly. I know he loves me but I'm still scared he'll say no. "Benji? Can you stand up right quick for me?" He looks at me in question in his eyes but does as I said. "Why did I need to stand up-" he cuts himself off as I get on one knee in front of him. His eyes go wide, as I sigh. "I know we might've gotten had a bad first meeting but. I truly happy we had met. I love you very much, even if we are mates I still wanted to do this property. You make me very happy even on very bad days. When you got taken away from me before I felt so angry about loosing you even if we hadn't known each other for that long. It felt like I was going to loose you forever and I would've lost myself. Benjamin, will you marry me?" He started to tear up as I wasn't even half way tough the paragraph. I rehearsed so I didn't say anything wrong, and had it all perfect.

"Yes!"
