ROBIN IMMEDIATELY KISSED back, letting her hands find their way to nancy's curly hair. the brunette wrapped her arms around robin's waist, moving herself onto robin's lap. nancy straddled robin as their tongues danced. both girls could practically feel the sparks flying.

robin eventually gave up fighting nancy for dominance, letting herself melt into the kiss. not only was it robin's first true kiss, but it was also nancy's first kiss with a girl. robin couldn't help but think how good nancy was at kissing the entire time.

the two eventuality broke away for air, leaving robin's breath heavy. the two stared into each other's eyes, not believing what had just happened. it took robin a few seconds before the realized she had just made out with nancy wheeler.

"holy shit," robin muttered under her breath, finally able to talk again.

"wow," nancy smiled. "you're a good kisser"

"i've never kissed anyone," robin admitted, causing nancy to look at her.

"so i'm your first kiss then?" the brunette asked with another smile, causing robin to nod.

the two sat there for a minute before going in for a second kiss, their lips colliding into what became a more passionate kiss, filled with emotion rather than hunger. robin smiled into the kiss, one of the first genuine smiles she had given in five months.

when they separated, robin immediately missed nancy's touch. it was intoxicating, and robin couldn't help but crave more.

five monts ago, robin would've said anyone was crazy if they had said she was kissing anyone- let alone nancy wheeler. she had thought she'd never be comfortable being touched again, at least not in an intimate or romantic way.

nancy had figured the same thing, so she had tried burying her feelings away for a long time. robin had been the reason she realized she was bi in the first place. it started with little things like wanting to talk to her or glancing over in class at her to wondering what it would feel like to hold her hand and kiss her until they both lost their breath.

but nancy and robin had finally kissed now, and both girls could not be more happy about it. robin was happy that she wasn't as uncomfortable with touch anymore, and nancy was happy that her dreams became true.

"are you completely sure you've never kissed anyone?" nancy asked her afterwards, a smile tugging at her lips.

"one hundred percent," robin laughed. "why?"

"because you're the best kisser out of everyone i've ever kissed"

"i'm suprised you want to kiss me when i was literally puking my guts up when you met me," robin laughed again, causing nancy to snort. robin found it so cute. "i just fell even more in love with you, wheeler"

"keep falling, we aren't even dating yet"

"then why don't you ask me to be your girlfriend?"

"hm, what's in it for me?" nancy teased, causing robin to smirk.

"a lot more kisses"

"i'm in. robin buckley, will you be my girlfriend?"

"hm.....i don't know. can i think on it?" robin teased back.

"oh shut up," nancy laughed, rolling her eyes playfully.

"yes, wheeler, i'll be your girlfriend"

"you will never guess what happened today!" robin said excitingly on the phone. she was talking to steve, as she had raced to call him the second nancy walked out the door.

"what happened besides you ditching work?" steve asked, his tone coming off both agitated and tired.

"okay, first off, lose the attitude," robin said in a joking tone.

"okay, okay," steve said, still throwing his hands up in surrender as if robin was in the same room as him. "but seriously, keith is pissed that you skipped"

"i don't care about kieth right now! nancy and i kissed!" robin said, waiting for a reply nervously. she heard nothing but shuffling feet in reply. "hello? earth to steve please?"

"sorry, i was doing my happy dance. how did it happen?"

"i confessed! i told her my feelings. i told her i was in fucking love with her, steve!! and she told me she loved me too. and then she kissed me. and god, steve, i feel like everything just melted away. any stress, any nerves. it was amazing. it was like i was melting into nancy. and it just felt so right. and then we kissed again. and she asked me to be her girlfriend! and we kissed again, and again, and-"

"okay, i get it, you two made out," steve laughed. "but seriously, i'm so happy for you, rob. and i'm so proud of you. my baby gay is growing up"

"say that again and i'm never speaking to you again," robin said with a serious voice, smiling on the other end of the phone.

"still, you get my point. i'm a proud dad"

"mom," robin corrected. "you're a mom"

"whatever, shut up. celebration party? i'll bring you your favorite food!"

"i'm in"

steve arrived practically 40 minutes later, with robin's favorite food and drink along. robin was happy to dig into her cheeseburger, it was her favorite food at the moment.

"i cannot believe you and nancy made out," steve commented between bites of his own burger.

"well, we did. and she kissed me"

"bottom," steve mumbled.

"say it louder," robin laughed, sitting up.

"i said you're a bottom"

"for nancy? oh definitely, one hundred percent. wouldn't you be?"

"well- yeah, i guess you're right," steve laughed, robin joining him.

steve and robin watched a few horror movies that night, a couple of the jumpscares catching her off guard. at one point, robin was completely positive that her soul had left her body.

steve ended up staying the night as well as he usually did. steve had taken a full-time job at this point, causing him to not see robin as much as normal. on days where he doesn't have work the next day, he tries to make sure he's always there for robin.

even if nancy was beginning to fill that spot as well.
