Both Natsu and Lucy are facing the massive mirror as they both take a position in front of it. When they stare into the mirror, they can see their inner true selves as the mirror's glass transforms, turning black and eventually completely white. To see who they really are, they both gaze into the white glass.

Natsu: Hey Lucy, is my hair really so spiky?

Lucy: You always have such spiky hair, but are my breasts truly that huge, or is this mirror deceiving me?

Natsu: Your breasts have always been on the larger side, and although they have grown several sizes since we first met, I believe they are still somewhat perfectly natural.

Hyne: Do you guys not notice anything odd about your reflections, like something out of the ordinary? I'm referring to things like unrealistic attire or offensive facial expressions.

Natsu: NO. My reflection doesn't seem weird to me; how about you, Lucy?

Lucy: The same is true here; I just see Natsu as he is at this very moment and I don't see anything unusual about either of us.

Hyne: *In order to confirm that they are not telling her lies in order to obtain access to the mirror's powers, she also glances into the mirror. She simply sees them as being without offensive attire, pretensions, or facial expressions.* Not many people, are as in-tune with their inner selves as you two are. The majority of visitors either perceive themselves as their true, wicked selves that they strive to conceal or simply regard themselves as some kind of godlike entity due to their ego. I'm incredibly impressed because it's rare to find individuals that are aware of their inner selves.

Lucy:  I believe that we might have only succeeded because Natsu is so dim-witted that he is unable to recognize himself as anything other than what he is. I may have succeeded while coming from a rich family, but I left everything behind in order to live a free life, pursue my interests, and spend time with the people I love.

Hyne: or because you truly understand who you are. You don't consider yourselves as less than you truly are, and neither of you has an ego that would lead you to believe that you are gods among common people. I have to admit that the main reason you two have such a distinct sense of who you are, is that you know each other and keep each other in check.

Natsu: I suppose that our in-depth conversation helped us better understand one another and ourselves.

Lucy: I guess so.

Hyne: Okay, now that you have passed the test, you are free to ask the goddess of truth anything you like.

A face is now gazing back at them from the infinite void as the mirror once more glows in the starry light as it did in the beginning.
