Asmodeus noticed something quite strange occurring to Lucy that she wasn't aware of herself as they were enjoying their beverages and a pleasant talk.

Asmodeus: As you mentioned, Lucy, you were transformed into your dragon form. You added that you decided to remain this way because you believed it to be who you are, is that correct?

Lucy: Why do you ask, exactly?

Asmodeus: I have no idea what kind of life you led or what experiences you endured, but for some strange and dangerous reason, it seems as though you are the home of three souls. I can see them fighting in the spiritual plains with my eyes. They might not be three different souls, but rather three different versions of your own soul that appear to have been altered and broken off and become their own beings. I'm not clear why they are fighting, but having three souls in one body engaged in combat can only be harmful to both the body and the souls.

Lucy: *freaked off by the thought that she had multiple souls competing for control of her body.* What shall I do? If you can see them, then you must have a means to like fix them, right? Can you like stop them or put my soul back into one?

Asmodeus: Fixing a broken soul is impossible once it splits and becomes its own life, which is similar to the creation of a new life that is a part of you but different from you. Given that these souls appear to have undergone changes that I haven't seen before, even if fusing a soul back together would be possible, the fact that they are so different from your own soul makes it even more difficult. Sorry, but the only thing I can do is remove them from your body and have them destroyed.

Natsu: For better or worse, those souls are also Lucy, and I won't allow that to happen. I once lost a version of Lucy, and I'm not going to let that happen again. They can't be placed in functioning bodies without souls, for example.

Lucy: Natsu *She is fully aware that he is referring to a version of herself from the future who traveled back in time to alter events but perished. She is aware that Natsu still holds himself accountable for his failure to save that version of her, and she knows he wouldn't approve of this.*

Asmodeus: The Lucy's will be safe if you can bring me two life bodies that don't deserve to live. I can then transfer the two souls into them.

Lucy: Natsu, Even though I know how far you would go for me, You can't simply take someone else's life and claim it for my own. I could never live with the idea that someone had to die in order for me or any version of me to exist.

Natsu: I know my love*uses his ability for cloning to create two duplicates of himself.* Since I created the replicas using my powers, it would be the same as if I reabsorbed them into my body if you took my soul from one of these two and put it back into me. They are strong and powerful, just as I am, so they can easily take over any soul Lucy may be carrying.

Lucy: *She was completely perplexed because she hadn't considered this.*

Asmodeus: Well, this is something I would never have thought of, but given that you can make duplicates of yourself and then absorb them, the two other souls would merge with your own, and the two souls within Lucy could be transferred without any issues or the need to take a life.

Natsu: Okay, let's get started.

Asmodeus: You folks might want to rest down because transplanting souls is hard on the body.

They all leave their seats and lay down on the ground. To make it simpler to distinguish them from the original, Natsu's two duplicates are placed a little farther away from Natsu and Lucy. Asmodeus is standing above the two replicas, and she presses her hand against their chests to extricate their souls. The two souls are then inseparably fused with Natsu's own soul once she inserts them into his body. She then places her hand on Lucy's chest and removes her two distinct souls, taking them over to the duplicates of Natsu and putting them inside.
