Authors POV
It was dinner time in the brown-sink house . Millie and Sadie felt sad but happy because Briella was starting preschool the next morning . Millie was a model but stopped when she had the kids she had always planned to go back to it but didn't know when . Sadie knew how much Millie missed modeling so she wanted her to start again
Millie's POV
I was cooking dinner but this time Joey was the one being clingy and wanting be me to hold him . I was pretty surprised because I would say Joey is our calmest child . But then I remembered it was the night before they had school for some reason he gets really clingy the nights before school . But at least he wasn't Briella screaming for me . When Joey has fits he sorta resorts to whining instead of crying or screaming . Briella wasn't that clingy because I put her on a better sleeping schedule .

"Joey what's up with you" I said picking him up and chuckling . He just put his head on my shoulder with one of his arms wrapped around my neck . Suddenly Sadie came in the kitchen and wrapped her arms around my waist pulling me closer and giving Joseph a kiss on the cheek . She took Joey from my arms and placed him at the table making the plates while I went to the playroom to get the girls Briella woddled up to me with her pacifier. She's a late walker while Danielle took my hand after climbing out of the baby gate as I picked up Briella from the gate .

"Kelse let's go eat"

"but me want to watch tv"she said not taking her eyes off the screen

"no let's eat first bug" I say walking out knowing what we'll happen next . I walked to the dinner table and put Briella in her high chair .

While Danielle got in her chair . I went back and picked up Kelsey from the couch a couple minutes later .

But as soon as i did she threw herself dramatically

"mama I was watching tv" she whined slugging her body so I dragged her by the arms while she kicked her legs and sat her at the table . She pouted angrily still kicking her legs .

"Kelsey what's wrong"? Sadie said eating after say Grace

"Me don't wanna eat me wanna watch tv"

"Kelsey after you eat maybe you can watch more tv" she grumbled and started throwing food on the floor

"Kelsey Elizabeth you stop throwing food on the floor right now" Sadie said firmly

"no" she yelled throwing her cup of juice that ended up landing on Joey as he screamed

"Kwelsey why you did that" she pushed him and he punched her harshly on shoulder

"Joseph Mathew the third" I said getting up

  "m-m- Mama"Kelsey cried loudly

Kelsey went to punch Joey but Sadie stopped her pushing her over the edge . Kelsey threw her arms uncontrollably and started to fill with rage while Sadie held her down . I told Danielle to finish what was left on her plate , and put Briella who finished eating quickly in her playpen, picking out a book while I picked up an upset Joey that was grumbling loudly on my shoulder squirming in my arms kicking his legs reaching for Kelsey
Sadies POV
I held Kelsey down trying to hug her while trying not to let tears fall from my eyes thinking about how my mom would deal with me and my sister in this type of situation I still have nightmares about it
Flashback
1999 Sadie is 6 years old and her sister is 3 . This is before Sadie's mom married Nick
Sadies POV
I was in the kitchen on the floor screaming because my mom wouldn't give me any candy cursing at her my mom picked me up and yelled in my face while hitting me harshly on my bottom then locked me in that pitch black room with no windows while I pounded on the door for hours screaming trying to get out . When my mom would fall asleep from drinking Jaycee would some how always managed to get me out and lay with me in my bed . Honestly I probably would have been in there for days without
I was snapped out of my thoughts with Kelsey screaming more brutally "Hey , hey hey calm it down" I said turning her around to face me . She stopped screaming for a second whining then started up again as I caressed her hair ignoring her screams "are you done" I said calmly and picked her up while she rubbed her eyes letting her eat in my lap as she faced me . While Millie rocked Briella to sleep on her chest with her pacifier after putting up with Joey and putting Danielle to sleep . Kelsey fell asleep on me leaning against me after finishing most of her food as did Briella on Millie .
We walked them upstairs to there rooms and back down to ours we crashed on the bed and silently laid in each others arms until we drifted off to sleep
