So she could die"

No no no but it could result in death if we don't get her the medical care she needs . she could have easily died this morning from her fever but she didn't which shows us how much of a fighter she is . There's a huge lump in her throat which is causing her lungs to be very swollen which could lead to them closing . If you look at this picture right here you can see how swelled her lungs are . Has she experienced any symptoms of nausea or coughing maybe stomach bug .

She had an upset stomach a couple days ago another than that no" I said wiping tears off my eye holding Briella on my lap

You told me she has IED does she take medication?"

"Yes"I nodded giving Kelsey another apple slice letting her stuff it in her mouth munching while Joey wiped my face with a tissue

Would you say she's been more frequent with emotional melt downs rather than just being angry

the past few days she's been having meltdowns after school

Can you give me an example in detail

-Like umm yesterday she came home from school and .. I gave the kids juice in sippy cups and she had a purple sippy cup but Kelsey had a pink one and she decided she wanted hers and reached across the table snatching it from her and when I took it giving it back to Kelsey she threw herself back in her chair starting to have a crying fit"

Ok . . Well I want you to know we have many patients that are children going through this . She said calmly as I nodded while Joey wiped more tears away from my face while I kissed his cheek

There are different ways we could go about this with getting her the medical attention . We could do treatments to get the swelling down and the lump which could take 1-5 months or more . You could put her through surgery but there is a small risk she could lose her voice and never be able to talk again but it would be much faster results if all goes well"

"What about her fever" I tried

-it's already going down she should be fine , now you said earlier she couldn't talk

No she wanted too but the only thing that came out was her whining and crying

That's perfectly normal it just means she knows something's wrong and she wants to tell you . If she does freak out or have a tantrum , just being frustrated , maybe a crying fit like wailing which you said did happen in the car?

Wailing is usually the point when she just feels like she can't breathe which causes her to panic . All she's trying to do is express how she feels through the only way she can really which is throwing fits so be as patient as you can and she won't be able to take her medication oh if you give her food small bites at a time definitely . And when ever you're ready you can tell us what you and your husband want to do

Husband?" I almost laughed as she looked at me oddly motioning to my shiny wedding ring
