The Promise

Part 52

"So when are you leaving?" I asked Luke.

We were in my garden seating next to the pool and talking.

"Next Sunday, I'll start with school in Monday" he said to me

"One more week" I smiled and I made sad face

"Yeah. I am kinda sad of leaving you here without nobody by your side" He said to me and he hugged me.

We were pretty close these months and he became good friend to me. He was supporting me and he was always by my side. Luke was the reason why I didn't broke down when I came in Melbourne and now he is leaving. I am scared of the fact that I am staying here without him and anyone that close to me. Jack doesn't count.

"You are going to be with Ivy and your friends again Luke." I said to him

"Ok, lets talk about something else" he smiled "You're going in Sydney tomorrow with Jack" he laughed

"Oh, we are not talking about that. I don't wanna get upset yet" I laughed

We talked one more hour about a lot of stuffs and he went home. I get in the house to get ready for tomorrow.

Next day I woke up early, very early in 4 AM because we were going with plane. I got ready and I get out of the house. Jack was waiting for me outside in his car.

"Ready Mr. Styles?" I laughed

"Of course Miss Wilson. You?"

"Yeah, totally" I smiled and he kissed me

We went at the airport and we get in the plane. I needed to sleep because I needed to get up so early

"You are sleepy" Jack said to me

"Yeah..." I barely said to him

"Come on come here" he said to me and I lay on his shoulder "Dream about me" he laughed and he kissed me on the forehead

I fall asleep immediately.

I one moment I heard that Jack was talking to me but I wasn't woken up yet so I could barely understand him.

"Cara, I know you can't stop dreaming about me, but you need to get up" I heard that from him

"Yeah and I was dreaming of you" I get up from his shoulder

"You weren't?" he looked at me with sad face

"Not really" I said seriously

"So?"

"I didn't dream about anything" I kinda lied to him

I was dreaming about Michael. Yeah Michael. I am kinda excited that I am going to see him again.

We talked and after half hour we were in Sydney. We went in the city and the went to Nate's house. We'll be there these two days. Jack and I in the same house. I don't know how will that work.

We arrived in front of Nate's house. We knocked on the door and Nate have opened it. We get inside and we rest from the flight.

"Do you have some plans for today?" Nate asked us

"I was planing to meet with Ivy" I smiled "You guys can have some time alone" I laughed

"Yeah, It would be nice." Nate said

"You want to say that I am only bothering you" I was kidding with them

"No" said Jack

"Kinda" Nate laughed "We need some men time" he said

"Hm, ok"

"Jack, she is jealous" Nate laughed

"You think?" Jack laughed too. Are they trying to freak me out?

"I don't reason for it, he has so big crush on me" I laughed

"Cara, what?" Jack laughed. I kissed him in the cheek and I went to the bathroom to get ready.

"Cara, Ivy is calling you" I heard Nate's voice while I was in the bathroom

I get out and I answer it

"Come on, get out I am in front of the house"she said to me

"I am not ready yet. Come inside" I said

"Okay."

After few minuter someone knocked on the door. It was Ivy. Nate opened the door and she came in

"Ivy" I screamed and I went to hugged her immediately

"I so missed you girl" she said to me

We went to the living room. Jack was there

"Ivy, this is Jack" I smiled

"The famous math professor" Ivy laughed "Nice to meet you" she said

"Ivy stay with them, I'll be right back" I said to her and I went to finish my preparations for getting out because I was in a totally mess when I got here.

When I get back they were talking and they were laughing a lot.

"What did I miss?" I asked them

"No we were just talking about our school trip" Said Ivy

"What about it?" I asked them with serious face

"Jack will let us party all night" she laughed

"I'll party with you" Jack laughed

"Who did let you be a professor?" Nate asked him

"I am sorry, I am very good professor" Jack laughed

"Yeah, tell me about it" I said seriously

"Shut up, It was your fault" he laughed

"and I don't understand anything" said Ivy

"Yeah, me too." said Nate

We told them everything about my getting late on his class

"Good job mate" said Nate when he heard everything about it

"Ivy lets go, we are too young for here" I said seriously
"Cara seriously?" Nate looked at me
"I am just kidding, but we need to go. I want to get back early to rest for tomorrow" I said to them
"Ivy you can at least say bye" said Nate to Ivy
"Bye Nate, nave a nice day" she made kinda fake smile to him and she went toward the door.
I went to Jack and I kissed him and then we get out of the house.
"You are kinda cute together" Ivy said to me while we were driving to the city center
"Kinda?"
"Yeah, Mike and you were cuter" she smiled
"Ivy, please. Don't remind me"
"You are scared of leaving Jack because of Mike right?"
"No I am scared of feeling again that feelings that I had with Michael"
"You can felt them when you look at him?"
"I think so and that's why I am scared"

We talked during the hole way to the center about me and Jack. I told her everything and I felt relieved. I needed her for this conversations.
