The Promise

Part 37

My mum woke me up. I slept only 3 hours. I couldn't fall asleep last night. SHe said that is time for school. I get up from bed and I get ready for school.

I was ready, I took my bag and I get out of my room. Everyone were in the kitchen, eating.

"What do you want to eat honey?" my mum asked me

"I don't want anything. I gotta go, Luke is waiting for me outside."

"You didn't eat yesterday too. You'll get sick" my mum said to me

"I am not hungry" I kind of yelled at her and I get out of the house.

Luke was outside, with the car. I get in the car

"Hey Luke" I said hi to him

"Are you ready?" he asked me

"Yeah, lets go."

"Nervous?"

"Nope." I smiled to him

While we were diving to the school, I've got text from Michael

Happy first day in your new school baby. Love you

"Mike?" Luke asked me

"Yeah, he is wishing me a nice day." I smiled

"Aw... so cute" he laughed

"I see that you'll be my female friend here." I laughed

"Haha... just don't tell me female stuffs Ok?"

"Ok, I won't" I smile

We arrived. Luke parked the car in the parking and we went to the school

"Still not nervous?" he asked me while we were getting in the school

"No and stop asking me that. "

We arrived in the classroom. The classroom was full.

"Wow, so many people loves math." I was really surprised when I saw full classroom

"Haha, no. Like you see most of them are girls. They are here becuse of the teacher."

"and the boys?"

"To watch out of his girlfriends."

"Why is that teacher so special?" I asked him

"He's... oh here he is" said Luke and we sat on our chairs.

I saw the teacher. He was amazing. Tall man with muscles. Black, short hair and cute face.

"Now I understand" I whisper

The teacher said ho to everyone and then he saw me
"Listen everyone. We have a new student." he smiled to me "Can you introduce yourself."
"Yeah" I stand up "I am Cara Wilson and I am from Sydney" I said to everyone.
"You are Mike's girl right?" some of the boys from the class asked me. I got embarrassed. I didn't know what to say. I looked at Luke and he was laughing.
"Yeah" I smiled to that boy
All class started talking about Michael and me. I sat down. The teacher laughed too. Then he said everyone to shut up.

The class finally finished.
"That was awkward" I said to Luke while we were getting out of the classroom
"That wasn't nothing." he smiled
"What do you think by that?" I asked him
"Um... everyone...." he was interrupted by some guys that came to us.
"and Cara these are my friends and Mike's friends too" he smiled
"Nice to meet you guys" I said to them
"I am so jealous of Mike. He has the prettiest girlfriend in the school." one of them said and I didn't knew what to say. Luke saw that I was feeling really uncomfortable.
"Dude, stop." he said to that boy
"That the truth mate." he said
Then some girl came to us and she hugged one of the boys
"So, you're Mike's girlfriend" she said to me and she had a strange look
"Yeah" I said
"That's Mike's taste." she smiled to me
"and you are?" I asked her
"Ask Michael, he'll tell you." she said to me and she left. The boys left too
"who is she?" I asked Luke while we were going in History classroom
"Her name is Fia, but I have no idea what she has with Mike."
"I'll ask him, later."
I don't have good feeling about her. I'll ask Michael about her, but I am afraid of the answer

When I finished with school, Luke took me home.
There wasn't anyone home, I was alone. Michael isn't here to come.
I called him. He probably finished with school too.
We talked about a lot of stuffs and then I asked him about Fia
"She spoke with you?" he asked me
"Yeah, while we were talking with your mates from here. Who is she?"
"Long story" he said
"I am ready to listen it"
"We can't on the phone"
"we must talk on the phone Michael. We can't see each other remember."
"Ok, just don't be angry. She was my girlfriend."
"That's ok, she was and..."
"We broke up. That's all"
"You're lying to me. I can hear it from your voice"
"She was the first girl I have slept with" he said
"Oh, that's..." I didn't knew what to say. I got surprised.
"Never mind. " he said
"I just want to know. You are my boyfriend"
"Ok, ask me what you want"
"How many times have you slept with her?" I asked him. I wanted to know it.
"um..."
"So it was more than one"
"Um, yeah"
"So how many?" I kind of yelled at him
"I don't know"
"So a lot of times"
"Yeah." he said on the phone. "You're not angry right?" he asked me
"No, there isn't reason for it. It's in the past"
We talked a few more minutes and then we finished the conversation.

I knew that I am not his first, but I didn't knew that he slept so many times with some girl. Now I am kind of worried. I was with him only once.
