Sav and I are eating breakfast at a local restaurant in Birmingham before the band has to head off to Nashville. He's talking, but my thoughts are overwhelming me so much that I'm not absorbing any of his words.

"Earth to Emma." He jokes, waving his hand in front of my face and snapping me back to reality.

"Sorry." I smile and take a bite of my pancakes.

"What's on your mind?" He says as he picks up his mug of coffee.

I could lie to him, but he has the ability to see right through me all the time. It's one of the downsides of being together nearly three years.

"I- I'm fine." I blurt out. His blue eyes are staring directly into my soul. He knows something's up.

"Come on, don't give me that. What's going on?" He says softly, grabbing my hand.

"At the doctor yesterday I learned some news..." I started. I remove my hand from his and place it on my stomach, making his eyes widen. "Sav, we're going to have a baby."

I couldn't tell how what he was thinking at first. Eventually, after processing the news, his blank expression turned into that wide smile that I love so much.

"Emma, that's great! We're going to be parents!" He kisses me across the booth and beams with excitement.

It felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. I should have known Sav would react like this but my anxiety always gets the best of me.

The guys were all very, very excited when we told them the news. After all, this would be the first Def Leppard baby and the guys would now be uncles.

"Uncle Phil has a nice ring to it." Phil said proudly.

"I don't know, Uncle Stevie sounds better to me." Steve exclaimed, wrapping his arm around Georgia who was sitting next to him on the couch. She shook her head at the two grown men arguing over who would be the better uncle.

Sav shook his head and laughed at his bandmates, who had essentially become his brothers. They had become mine, too. I have no doubt that our baby will be showered with love.

Arriving in Nashville, we're finally able to stay in a hotel again since the next three dates are all in Tennessee.

As soon as we entered the hotel room I plopped down on the bed. This was much more comfortable than a stuffy bus.

Sav looked at me and crossed his arms as he stood over me at the side of the bed. "Are you comfortable?" He laughs.

"Very." I say, nuzzling myself in the covers.

He removed his shoes and pants and climbed in next to me, nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck. "I can't believe I'm going to be a dad." His hot breath fans against me.

"You're going to be an amazing one." I respond. I feel him smiling against my neck.

The show in Nashville had a lot of technical difficulties, which of course no one can control. At one point, a light from the ceiling fell and missed Phil by a centimeter, making everyone jump out of their skin.

"Electronics, we can't always rely on them." Joe joked into the mic.

Tonight they were adding a new song to the set list: Switch 625, the instrumental track from High N' Dry. They were weary about adding it since it doesn't have any words, but after the disastrous moments from tonight Joe just wanted to collect himself for a bit.

The audience responded well to the song, bopping and jamming out to it like they had done for all of the songs before it.

Sav was getting really into it which I loved watching. The boys work so well together and definitely feed off of each others' energy. Georgia and I smiled at each other as we watched our boys do their thing. It's a beautiful sight to see.

Out of nowhere I get lightheaded and decide to go to the dressing rooms. Every step I took down the hallway felt like everything was closing in on me.

Using the hallway to maintain my balance, I finally make it to the dressing room, but I didn't make it to the couch. Everything went black.

"Emma? Emma!" I heard familiar voices calling to me, but I couldn't respond.

When I woke up I was in an unfamiliar room. Blinking to adjust to the light, I realized I was in a hospital. Sav was asleep in the chair next to me.

He woke up once the machines connected to me started beeping.

"Sav?" I call out, and he comes and sits on my bed. "What happened?"

"You're okay, baby. You were just dehydrated and passed out. Everyone's okay."  He says, grabbing my hands and then placing a kiss on my lips.

"Where are the guys?" I ask.

"They're back at the hotel but they send their love."

"Leave it to me to add chaos to an already stressful night." I sigh.

"Hey, you did nothing wrong. All that matters is you're okay. Both of you." He glanced at my stomach and smiled.

The next day they let me out of the hospital. The guys are continuing on with the next show, including Sav.

I decided to just rest for the night in the hotel room. My thoughts are once again consuming me, but I'm just trying to close my eyes and push them away.

The phone rings in the room, making a little green light flash on the receiver.

"Hello?" I say as I pick it up.

"Hey, love. We're about to go on and I wanted to check in." Sav says sweetly.

"I'm fine. Just resting." I say in my tired tone.

"Alright then, I'll see you after the show. Love you." He says.

"I love you too." I say before hanging up.

When Sav returned, I was sitting in the hotel bathtub trying to relieve some of the pain from collapsing on the cold cement floor of the arena.

"Do you want to get in?" I motion in front of me.

He nods, getting in not long after. This bathtub is huge so there was plenty of room for the both of us, not that we'd mind either way. I hate showers but I could sit in a bathtub for the rest of my life.

"How was the show? Did anyone have a near death experience tonight?" I ask, handing him the loofa.

"Surprisingly, no. It was amazing tonight. It felt like a piece was missing though." He smiled up at me and planted a kiss on my lips as he continued running the loofa over his body.

I blush, returning his smile. "I know, I'm kind of the life of the party." I joke.

"That you are." He shakes his head, rinsing himself again before we get out.
