Chapter 9 - Phone Absorbed

3rd Person Pov

Akali: "First day back and we already had to deal with fans..."

The ninja groaned as she hunched over to her seat with a blue haired Seraphine taking the seat to her left and Kai'sa taking a the seat to her right. Evelynn sat next to Kai'sa with Ahri at the end of the row on her phone.

Evelynn: "It was to be expected though I do admit it was much of a headache."

Yasuo: "I thought you love that attention."

The beat making ronin sat in the row in-front of the girls with Ekko at the end of the row next to him and Lucian to his left with Senna.

Evelynn: "Everyone can get tired of something can't they? Right Ahri?"

The fox vastayan didn't even acknowledge the question as she tore her gaze from the phone screen to look at everyone.

Ahri: "Huh? I wasn't listening."

Ekko: "That's not a good look class rep."

The rapper snickered as Ahri simply rolled her eyes and looked back at her phone typing away. Ahri Park not only was the leader of the popstars of K/DA but also the class representative who intended to be Student Council President after Fiora Laurent, rumours have it she has pretty shit luck when it comes to her love life.

Ahri: "Whatever."

Soon after the class doors opened and in walked a purple skinned man with runes written on his body, this was the Magic Instructor Professor Ryze a famous rune magic researcher. He arrived at his desk and slammed the books in his hands down making a sound loud enough catch everyone's attention.

Ryze: "Mornin' class, I'd rather not see any of your faces again but the pay is too great to refuse so we'll be together once more. Now to your seats and get your textbooks out, just because it's the first day back doesn't mean you get a relaxing start."

Hearing this everyone began to move towards their seats with Qiyana wiggling her fingers to Adonis as she got up with him raising a hand in response before seeing her walk down to her seat next to Senna.

Senna: "I didn't even realise you weren't seated."

Akali: "Should've known something was off with how quiet it was."

Qiyana: "Oh ha ha, very funny Kali. I was just talking with Adonis for a bit."

Ekko and Seraphine perked up at hearing that.

Akali: "About what?"

Qiyana: "Just summer and such other things."

She then looked over to Ahri still typing on her phone.

Qiyana: "Still on her phone?"

Kai'sa: "She's been like that since the beach."

Qiyana: "We all went to the beach over two months ago, Kai'sa."

The dancer sighed and nodded in acknowledgement as Evelynn looked to her fox friend and tried snatching the phone only to find herself grabbing air as Ahri raised her phone away from the demoness. Evelynn looked to Qiyana at this and the royal just shook her head in disappointment.

Ryze: "Enough talking! Go to page 56 of your books."

The sound of paper flipping could be heard as everyone was at the page and Ryze began the lecture. Seraphine looked up from her book and towards the back row at Adonis as he was looking through the book, a look of guilt contorted her face.

Seraphine: "..."

Ryze: "Miss Park, put away your phone!"

Hearing that Seraphine went back to her textbook to avoid getting called out as well.
