Chapter 13 - Stalked

Adonis' Pov

'Should I drop out?'

Those were the four words that floated in my head as I strolled down the school hallways with a bored look on my face. I pretty much knew everything in the curriculum so I didn't really see a need to continue effectively wasting money for school fees. I was making better money with taking on commissions and such but I know Umala wouldn't let it slide.

'Maybe if I convince dad then he'll-'

???: "Hey Donnie!"

I recognized that beautiful voice immediately and looked to see Qiyana walking to me in tow with Senna, Akali and Evelynn. 

"Hey Qiyana. Where are you ladies heading to?"

Qiyana: "We're going to meet the others to discuss music stuff."

"Ah, it has been a while since either of your groups have dropped now that I think about it."

Akali: "Man! Even Adonis thinks so."

As we were conversing Qiyana walked up to me and tip-toed to reach up and put her arms around my neck in a hug I returned. Senna didn't say anything but Akali had a dumbfounded look on her face while Evelynn raised a brow with an amused smirk, before Senna got back on topic.

Senna: "It'd be good to talk to the label about preparing for future projects as well."

I began blinking rapidly hearing that as I had what would be better known as a Jimmy Newtron brain blast.

"The future.... of course!"

Frigg: 'Master?'

'I'm gonna help so many people and earn so much money at the same time...'

Meanwhile Akali was getting Qiyana off me, gotta admit I was kinda upset she succeeded but I now had a reason to be productive. I began walking into the direction of the library after saying bye to the girls and made off.

Qiyana: "Talk later~"

Walking our separate ways I could still hear their conversation.

Akali: "You can't want your grades up that badly Qi, Geekatude is contagious!"

Evelynn: "She's right, darling."

I rolled my eyes at the childish notion and made my way until I heard Qiqi's little chuckle before she said-

Qiyana: "I don't mind catching what Donnie's got~"

I froze dead in my tracks as I just felt heat on my face from hearing that, I glanced over my shoulder to her to see her glancing back at me with a wink.

'Is it me or is it getting kinda hot in here?'

Continuing on my way I didn't notice the additional pairs of eyes that had lingered on me this entire time either.

Timeskip brought by Chibi Adonis intensely blushing.

'I'm being watched.'

I thought to myself as I was in the school's library, not looking up from my book as to not alert the stalker. Maybe because I've been working on my mana reading skills my base sensitivity has risen by a lot, well it's not a big deal to be honest with my big ass ears.

???: "Here for something again?"

Looking up from my book I was met with the hot school librarian herself, Morgana with a few books in her hand that probably were going to be returned to the shelves. 

"That didn't sound friendly. Am I not your favourite anymore Miss Morgana?"

She rolled her eyes at my words with a smile before she walked over and placed a book on a shelf next to me.
