Jane pov:

I was sitting with Max on the top bunk. We were talking and laughing about the most random things. "Yeah! Counselor Nancy is total d-" I was cut off by the feeling of the bed shake slightly. I turned my vision from Max to the small latter attached to the bed. I saw Mike, he was one of the boys staying in the cabin. I admired him, he was actually really cute but a total nerd. I couldn't lie I was mildly embarrassed by my small crush on him. "What do you want" I hear Max say. "Oh I- uh well i thought I'd introduce myself.. I'm Mike" I heard him say clearly nervous. "And?" I hear Max say, I giggle a bit at that. I see him roll his eyes at her. "So uh do you like.. want to be friends?" I hear him ask, I could tell the question was more directed towards me as he was looking at me when asking it. "Sur-" "No" Max interrupted. I sigh softly. I give her a look and I can see her annoyed facil expression soften slightly. She rolled her eyes "Fine" she says. I can see him give a small smile and then going back over to his equally nerdy friend. I could see Max wasn't the most thrilled about it. I grab her hand "Come on Max" I say. I can see her trying to not smile, but it broke through when i smiled softly at her. "Hey guys come up here!" I hear her yell to Mike and Will. I can see them look slightly confused but soon enough they got up and walked over. The bed shook quite a bit as the 2 got up. "So.. you guys want to sneak out after lights out?" I ask. I see Max smile at the idea and nod her head. I can see the hesitation in the boys faces. I see Will check his watch and Mike clearly thinking about whether he wanted to or not. "W- what if we get caught" I finally hear Will say. "We're not going to get caught dumbass" I hear Max say. "Sure then" I hear Mike say, I see him turn to Will "What about you Will" I hear him say. I can see the hesitation in his facial expression. I expected him to make a lame excuse but he simply nodded. "It's 11:40 so the counselors will be coming around to say lights out soon" I heard him say. "Okay, we need to pretend we've been asleep. They won't suspect anything and it'll pretty much clear us" I hear Max say I nod my head in agreement knowing it worked every time. "Alright" Mike said, him and Will climbed back down. I saw him return to his bed and Will turning all the lamps off. I watched as the room became almost completely dark, besides the Ray's of moonlight glistening through the 5 cabin windows. I lay down next to Max and see her do the same.

After a few minutes I finally hear the sound of the counselors talking while going around and telling the cabins lights out. I hear them outside of ours, they open the door and walk in. I could tell they were trying to be quiet as they checked if we were sleeping. I had to hold in my laugh until I was certain they were gone. I giggled just a little bit and I heard Max giggle as well. After waiting it out, it had been probably 8 minutes or so. I could feel Max sit up and I did the same. "Guys I think were good" I hear Max say quietly but loud enough for us all the here. I hear a soft click and then see a small light. I looked down and see that Will had turned the lamp next to him on. I crawled across the bed and climbed down. Max followed behind me and Will and Mike also got up. I saw Mike reach for the handle to the door but quickly stopped him by grabbing his wrist. "We're going out the bathroom window, it will be a lot easier to see us if we go through the door dumbass" I hear Max say, I let go of his wrist and quietly walk to the bathroom. I can hear the others behind me as the floor was quiet creaky. I see the rays of moonlight glistening through the window and reach my hand out to unlock it. I feel the small latch and switch it's direction, then I place both my hand on the window and pull it up. I listen as the sounds of crickets and wind fade in. I can feel a small breeze of the cool summer night air. I then climb on top of the sink and slip through the window with a soft thud. I watch as everyone else gets through the window the same way I did. I looked back at the woods behind us and took a step forward.

Sorry I wasn't active today, I was doing errands the whole day, I should be posting more chapters tomorrow
