𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐄𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐄, Willow thought Halloween wasn't the best holiday to ever exist. No, that place belonged to Christmas, and if you said otherwise, Willow would most likely give you a full-on-researched argument to prove you wrong, but if she was being honest, to Willow, Halloween was just a reminder of her loss of childhood at a very young age.

After the Henderson's parental figure left them stranded, Willow took it upon herself to bring her family back to normal, even if that meant giving up her own free time to draw, play and make new friends. One of her first and best jobs was to be a babysitter, taking in advantage the experience she had after watching over her younger brother, and taking care of their depressed mother, Willow took under her wing other kids, mostly rich kids that were too hyperactive for their mothers and too plain for their fathers to keep their attention long enough. She would look after them as if they were her own siblings, picking them up from school, taking them on picnics,  tucking them in, and taking them trick-or-treating.

While Willow was taking care of foreign kids, her own sibling sat in their house, waiting by the small door for his sister to show up so the two of them could wear matching costumes and go collect their candy, maybe have a sleepover while watching movies, and fall asleep together. Willow knew Dustin was doing this, as stranger's kids held her hand and had matching costumes with her.  The night would usually end with Dustin's face stained by his tears, locked up in his room and Willow sitting outside his door, a bag of candy sitting on her hands, hoping her brother would understand.

After moving to Hawkins, the girl's perspective on Halloween changed. The Henderson siblings started to spend more and more time together thanks to the fact that Dustin had become best friend to the children Willow babysat, making the four boys and the girl an inseparable group. The five of them would dress up with matching costumes, they would go trick-or-treating and finished the night in a sleepover at The Wheeler's as the boys played DnD while Nancy and Willow baked them cookies.

"Dustin, please please let me take another picture, this one is blurry and I gotta, I mean gotta, have this picture taken." Willow pleaded as her brother whined. Willow as ever the perfectionist had to take the one picture that she would love and treasure for always, however her brother thought enough was enough after having his picture taken fifteen times.
