He Finds Out"Hey guys?" Thomas questioned, appearing in the living room of the mindscape.
"What's up Thomas?" Patton asked, being the closest to the side's host.
"So I was looking at a bunch of fan stuff online and I came across this one theory that you all are dead... I wanted to know if that was true...?" Thomas questioned looking around at all the now gathered sides.
Everyone was silent for a few minutes, each debating on what to tell their host when, to the surprise of everyone, Virgil was the one to speak up.
"Well Thomas, yeah, it's true. When you die you're given multiple options, once you choose an option you become stuck with it forever. We all chose to become sides and our age, and the side we represent, are based on how many hosts we've had." Virgil started, hoping that one of the others would pick up where he left off.
"What Virgil said, we have the 'Forevermore's, the sides who have been doing this for so long that most of the time they don't know when they actually died, some do remember though, the tend to have served at least 10,000 hosts. They tend to be able to represent any side, most going with logic. Then we have the 'Millennium's, those who have served between 1,000 and 10,000 hosts. They can only be anxiety or deceit, you have to be a Forevermore to be able to choose what you represent." Logan continued letting the next person continue explaining, this time it was Janus.
"We have the 'Centuries' who have served anywhere between 100 all the way up to 1,000 hosts, they can represent either creativity, good or 'bad'. Sometimes one side can represent both creativities, and sometimes those sides can split. Centuries can also represent logic. The final category is 1 to 100 hosts. These sides tend to be called 'Novus' or 'New'. They also have two options, morality or rage." Janus explained, all the sides looked away from Thomas when Janus had said rage. He hadn't shown himself yet and they were all hoping Thomas wouldn't question them.
"There is one final category..." Virgil started drawing the attention of everyone, he squirmed a bit on his spot on the couch before continuing. "They're called 'Pure-Bloods'... They are sides who never died, they were born as sides... They tend to represent things such as depression, sleep, or even lust. They tend to be less active for their host, though they are still there. Pure-Bloods can also be a side's side... Meaning that a side that represents intrusive thoughts, per se, could have another side in their head, that other side could represent lust. Not many side's have their own side, but it isn't unheard of."
"Virgil," started Logan looking at his anxious counterpart quizzically. "How did you know about the Pure-Bloods?"
Virgil seemed surprised by this question, though he quickly covered it thinking of a fast excuse. "I've worked with multiple Forevermores... I would constantly be asking questions when I represented morality, though with some past hosts I have asked questions even as anxiety."
"Something else that you should probably know, Thomas," Started Remy, sitting on the same couch as Virgil, "is that sides can come from alternate universes. Meaning that Remus and Roman could both come from a fantasy world and Janus could come from My Hero Academia. Though these both are only examples."
"Wait... So all of you died, except for Remy... Would it be insensitive to ask you all how you died?" Thomas questioned the sides all exchanging semi nervous looks.
"I wouldn't mind explaining how I did, honestly my death wasn't that bad." Patton spoke, everyone looked at him, he was an incredibly new side, they didn't even know how many hosts he's had, yet he was still the first to offer to explain their death.
