Chapter 4
On An Adventure

"So... A quick summary would be that we lived in the early Victorian age... We were in I think Britain...?" Roman questioned gaining a nod from his brother.

"We both died due to a mix of two or three things."

Two young brunette boys could be sparing with wooden swords. The one with two brown eyes looked at his brother, quickly noting the slightly shaky footing he had. Roman quickly dropped and swung his leg at his brother's feet effectively knocking the other over. The two heard a slight crack but didn't think anything of it, instead Remus hopped up, hissing slightly in pain, before the two started sparring once again.

This time it was Remus who took the win, instead of sweeping the legs he had grabbed his brother's arm making him drop the sword before throwing his brother over his shoulder. There was a thump and Roman had a look of pain covered his face but before Remus could question his brother they were called inside for supper.

They hadn't mentioned either of their possible injuries while eating, though their parents did say how their grandparents, who had visited just days prior, had just passed away due to influenza. The boys were both concerned, they were unsure now if they also had to worry about getting sick and even possibly dying from the disease.

Two days later Remus had died, he was showing symptoms of influenza, but he had also been complaining of random chest pains and it hurting after taking a breath or coughing just minutes before his death.

When Remus died Roman became heart broken. His twin brother, his other piece, his other half was gone... He thought he would forever be alone forever. What he didn't know was that his 'forever being alone' would only last about a day.

It was the day after his brother died, Roman had gone down to the river to try and clear his mind. He decided to step on the rocks sticking up from the water, just like he and Remus would do. He had been distracted for a split second, but in that second he lost his footing and fell, hitting his head on a sharp rock right below him. It didn't take more than 8 minutes for him to die.

He saw his brother in the afterlife, the two were ecstatic to see each other again, they had never been apart for more than one hour.

"So that's how we died." Remus said, a hollow laugh following his statement.

Virgil stood up, not to get more drinks or snacks, but to hug the darker twin, Logan doing the same for the lighter one. Both duos sat down with each other. Logan with Roman on one couch and Remus and Virgil on two bean bags sat side by side.

"Virgil, would you mind going last? I would like to get my story over with." Spoke Janus, the side in question nodding in agreement. "Great, thank you, Little Spider."
