Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Daisy, K, Sunghoon, and Jungwon stood in the I-Land, waiting to see who would join them.

A month had passed since the previous test, and Jake had officially joined the relationship.
This was how she ended up holding both Jay and Jake's hands, Sunghoon's arms wrapped around her waist from behind. "Niki will make it, right?" K pursed his lips at the younger'a name, and she regretted speaking so carelessly.

She gently unhooked Sunghoon's arms from her, going to side hug the oldest trainee. "He'll make it," she rephrased. He nodded, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.

At that moment, the egg began turning. Everyone's breath hitched as they waited to see who was on the other side.

They beamed to see that Niki had in fact made it, K being the first to embrace him. When he made his way to Daisy, she noticed for the first time he'd grown a couple inches.

"I'm proud of you, Niki-san," she said cutely, petting his hair as she held him. "Let's debut together and make a bunch of tiktoks, hm?"

He laughed slightly before going to greet the others. Jungwon wandered toward the girl, his arm linking with hers. She turned to him in question, but he only offered a small smile.

The next one to come through was Daniel, followed by Sunoo and Geonu. K beamed when Taki walked through the doors, making her smile at the two's reunion. The last to come up was Hanbin, and she remembered his unique voice and good dance skills. He had potential.

"The rules for part two will now be explained," the narrating voice suddenly announced. There would be four more tests, half of which would be based on global voting. They would also receive badges if they were in the top eight ranking of trainees.

"The first place I-Lander is...Kim Sunoo."

He was clearly shocked, and Daisy felt uneasy as she saw the others watch him with envy and confusion. "Go Sunoo!" she cheered, making him smile slightly in her direction.

They were continually called, Daisy ranking fourth in the global voting. Next, BTS appeared on the screen, making everyone gasp. They toured the I-Land before announcing that the next test would include covers of three of their songs: "I Need U," "DNA" and "Fake Love."

First, though, there'd be a mini mission. The egg turned once more, revealing Son Seunggdeuk and Bae Yoonjung. After introducing themselves, they declared that a freestyle dance battle would determine the leaders for the next tests.

"DNA, huh?" Daisy said with a small smile, glancing at Jay. After Taki had chosen Heeseung, Sunoo and Sunghoon for his team, the others had been divided into the remaining two groups.

"I wanted to team up with you," Sunghoon sighed, making Jay smirk in victory.

"Please head to the living room," the voice suddenly said. They glanced at each other before following.

"BTS?" Sunoo shouted in shock as they appeared on the screens.

"We're here to address your concerns," RM explained, making Daisy raise her eyebrows in surprise.

"That's why they had us do that?" she realized.

When it was Daisy's turn, she flushed, clinging to Jake's arm. "She's the only female trainee," J-Hope explained before Yoongi began reading what she wrote.

"'I can be very blunt with my words sometimes, and I worry I'll hurt others' feelings without realizing it.' Why does it feel like it was fate that I read this one?" Yoongi said with a laugh.

"This is 100% Yoongi hyung," Jungkook agreed.

"With this kind of issue, you honestly just have to become more careful," Namjoon answered.

"Yeah, hurting each other's feelings once in a while is kind of inevitable, you just have to talk about it." Jimin's words made her nod in understanding.

"All the foreigners are here," Jay realized with a laugh, looking around at the DNA team.

"Not Taki," Daisy countered. "Or Daniel. But a lot, yeah."

When the discussion of who should lead the team came, K was nominated unanimously. After some hesitation, he agreed to lead them.

"What part does everyone want?" he asked.

"Hanbin oppa's voice is strong," Daisy mentioned.

"The dance is also going to be a focal point though, so we need to be careful about who gets the center spots," Niki added, making her nod in agreement.

Daisy ended up getting part three, something she was happy with it. It gave her one of the pre-choruses that let her vocals shine, as well as a formation near the center for the more difficult dance parts.

The first thing they worked on was the chorus choreography, seeing as that was a part that was pretty similar for all of them. "To be honest," she started. "It's really not that bad."

"Our team has the strongest dancers too," Hanbin pridefully agreed.

"I think if we get the parts where we synchronize worked out first, we can work individually on the rest." Everyone nodded at K's statement.

After working out some timing and formations, they decided to rest. Daisy plopped onto her bed, her eyes closing. "Tired?" Sunghoon asked, entering the room. She nodded, curling into a ball as he put a blanket over her.

"I don't know why, though. We haven't done that much yet."

He gently massaged her scalp. "Your period ended recently, right? It's probably that." She hummed in reply, already beginning to fall unconscious.

An hour later, it was Daniel who woke her up. "We're gonna eat dinner," he explained, helping her sit up. She nodded, grabbing his arm and wrapping it around her shoulder before leading him out of the room.

"Did you sleep well?" Jay asked, pecking her cheek as she sat between him and Jake. She hummed in reply, grabbing the chopsticks in front of her and beginning to eat.

"How is your guys' practice going?" Heeseung asked the DNA team.

"I think we'll be fine," K replied.

"Your team is so strong," Taki whined quietly.

"So is yours," Daisy countered. "You chose well, Taki. The song will be hard, though." She turned to Jungwon. "You guys have the most difficult concept."

They nodded in agreement. "Jagi, your hair is getting in your food," Sunghoon pointed out with a cringe. Jake laughed slightly, grabbing Daisy's hair and redoing her ponytail.

"Thanks," she replied, continuing to eat. Jay shook his head at her with a small smile.

"The rest of the world stops existing when she eats," Geonu laughed. She playfully glared at him, stealing a bite of his rice in response.

"I think all the teams will do well," she honestly stated.

Later that day when she was taking a break, Sunoo approached her. "We've always been at different places, so we haven't gotten to talk much, but I really admire you." Her cheeks flushed from the compliment as she smiled, bowing slightly as she thanked him.

"Thank you. You've got a great voice, Sunoo! And you're so bubbly, I love it." He laughed shyly before his expression shifted into concern.

"I don't think I deserve first place though. And I don't think the others do either."

"The viewers do," she countered. "They don't only care about a person's dance or vocal or looks the way the producers might. They see your personality and your heart and the way you treat others, and that's why you are number one even if you've yet to reach your potential in other areas."

She hesitated before pulling him into a hug. "I know it's hard not to feel insecure about your placement and the boys certainly didn't help with that, but people out there think you're worthy and so do I."
