"Stop," Sunghoon scolded, grabbing Daisy's hand. "You'll make yourself bleed." She sighed, nodding. Biting her nails was a very bad habit of hers. Jay grabbed her other hand, squeezing it with a reassuring smile. In that moment, with both of them beside her, she felt like everything would actually be okay.

The three stepped up to a large door, gasping lightly as it opened and led to a long hallway. "Do you think we'll know anyone?" Jay shrugged in reply, making her roll her eyes lightly. "That was a great answer."

"Don't make me play middleman this early," Sunghoon joked, earning a chuckle from both of them. Before they continued, she stopped, making them turn to her.

"I don't know how many cameras will be in there," she explained, walking up to both and pressed a gentle kiss on their lips. "And I don't know how long it'll be til I get to do that again."

Before she could walk further away, Sunghoon pulled her back, his hands going to her waist and his lips connecting to hers once more. "Needy much?" Jay muttered, making Daisy lightly smack his arm.

"I happen to like guys who initiate," she teased, pulling away from Sunghoon. Jay smirked.

"You wanna see initiation—"

"We're going," the other boy interrupted, pulling both of them along with a small chuckle. Her nerves returned, her hand immediately reconnecting with Sunghoon's. They found Heeseung and a smile spread across her features as she greeted him.

Daisy had only met him a few times, but always heard good things about him from other trainees. "We're really trustworthy people," Jay assured a few boys she didn't recognize. When she turned to them, they noticed her and she felt both Jay and Sunghoon shift slightly in protectiveness. One glance from her was all it took for both to relax once more.

It had been six months since the three had entered their relationship. Of course, it had taken a lot of guidelines and boundaries being set, along with learning to handle the jealousy of sharing a partner. But when she'd made it clear repeatedly that it didn't mean she'd care about one less than the other and proved that time and time again, they adjusted and became happy with their arrangement.

One of the major boundaries they'd decided on was that no one was to enter the relationship unless everyone was okay with it. So while they trusted her to not cheat on them, they also knew she was an attractive girl, and that many people weren't exactly aware she was dating them.

Daisy broke of her thoughts as a low voice suddenly boomed throughout the room, explaining that they would be performing in their groups and voting each other in or out of the I-Land. She felt anxiety creep up her spine and moved to sit between her boys.

"Box breathing," Jay whispered in her ear, rubbing her back. Sunghoon eyed her with concern placing a hand on her thigh. All three vaguely noticed the eyes of the other trainees on them, but ignored it.

"I'm okay," she assured as a trainee who seemed a bit older than her took the stage. His performance was underwhelming in her opinion, but she caved to peer pressure and voted for him anyway.

Daisy, Sunghoon, and Jay took the stage next. After they had introduced themselves, they took their starting positions. Jay winked at her as they made eye contact, making her smile and relax slightly. Their performance went smoothly, and more than anything, Daisy was flooded with pride as she saw how well the boys did.

This pride grew as both were voted in, making her smile brightly at both and causing them to flush slightly. "Contestant Daisy is voted into the I-Land," the voice finally announced. She let out a breath of relief as she joined Sunghoon and Jay once more.

"You did amazing," Sunghoon immediately assured. Jay pecked her cheek, earning a small warning look from the other male as the next trainees took the stage.

After all the performances finished, the three walked hand in hand to the gate. They took in the vast area they'd be living in from now on, her never leaving their sides. "Your name is Daisy, right?" a boy suddenly asked. She did her best to smile and nod, confirming his statement.

"My name is K, you performed well earlier. All three of you did," he added with a smile.

"Thank you, you did as well," Daisy said with a slight bow. "You're quite a bit older than me, yes...?"

"I was born in 1997," he replied.

"We're '02 and she's '03," Jay replied. After the short conversation, the three wandered into a room with Heeseung, Seon, and a younger boy she remembered as Jungwon.

"Heeseung-ssi, I didn't get to say hi to you earlier," Daisy greeted with a bow. The older laughed a bit awkwardly at her formality, insisting she didn't need to speak so politely with him. She then introduced herself to the other two. Jay and Sunghoon shared a silent look, both happy she was taking the lead and not being shy as they expected she would've.

"So, you three know each other," Seon mentioned after a while. Daisy stiffened, brushing a piece of hair behind her ear with a forced laugh. Her hand went to her mouth before she caught herself and placed it in her lap.

"We trained together a lot," Jay cut in. "She's an amazing dancer, so naturally we looked to her for help." His words made her flush slightly, a grateful smile showing itself. Sunghoon cleared his throat, asking Daisy to help him find something to eat. She agreed, excusing herself and following him out of the room.

They headed to the pantry, eyes weary of cameras before he finally let himself relax and pull her a bit closer. "You okay?" Daisy nodded. She'd expected people would ask questions. Didn't make it easier to be less defensive, though.

"Jay helped smooth it over, so I think it's okay." Sunghoon nodded, glancing around for a moment before placing a small kiss on her lips. She breathed in his scent—peppermint and a hint of vanilla—and knew everything would be fine.
