Daisy's throat had been scratchy for several days, which was odd because they had been resting. She insisted it was allergies at first, but when day five hit and she started coughing, her chest congested, she began to think differently.
"Oppa," she whined from her place in the bedroom. Heeseung entered from the kitchen, a cup of ramen in hand.
"What's up?"
"I think I'm s-" Her throat clenched in on itself making her cough. He frowned, patting her back and placing the ramen down.
"Are you sick jagi?" She nodded, pouting sadly. "Aigoo, we can't have this, hm? Let's get you some medicine."
"But I'm comfy," she protested. He couldn't help but smile at how cute she looked at the moment. The other boys hardly ever saw her this whiny—it made her feel awkward. For some reason, Heeseung being just a bit older made him the only one that could see this side of her.
He placed his hands on her cheeks, noticing how warm they were before pecking her forehead and nose.
"How about I carry you to the living room, make you some soup, get you some medicine, and then you can fall asleep in my arms? Does that sound okay my love?"
Daisy paused for a minute before nodding, her arms wrapping around his neck. He gently lifted her from the bed, taking the blanket that she was snuggled into as well and delivering her to the couch in the living room.
"Are you okay jagi?" Jay asked, making the others look over at their female member. She didn't have any nasal symptoms, but her eyes looked less lively than usual and they obviously saw their hyung carry her in. She shook her head before vaguely pointing to Heeseung to explain so she wouldn't have to talk.
"She doesn't have allergies, she's sick. I'm gonna make her some soup and grab the medicine."
The boys frowned, expressing their concerns and hopping up to do different things to help. Sunghoon and Jay grabbed some of her favorite pillows to rest on, Jungwon went to look for the thermometer, Sunoo grabbed ice packs, Niki attempted to help with the soup, and Jake redid her ponytail so it was off of her neck.
About five minutes later, Heeseung presented her with a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a small dosing cup of cough medicine. "I found it," Jungwon declared, reentering the room with the thermometer. He handed it to her, patting her head before going to sit back down.
Luckily enough, Daisy didn't have a fever. This made her non-contagious to the boys, but she still said not to kiss her on the mouth until she was better or share drinks just in case.
After she finished the soup and Sunoo graciously took it from her to the sink, she felt herself growing sleepy. Her eyes darted around, looking for her Heeseung oppa.
"Oppa?" she softly called, her voice breaking because of how dry her throat was still. He emerged from the kitchen, stopping in the doorway.
"Yes jagi?"
She made grabby hands in his direction, her eyes pleading for him to come join her. Sunoo noticed from his place by the sink and cooed at her cuteness.
"Go ahead hyung, I'll finish cleaning up."
Heeseung thanked the younger with a smile, going to the now smiling girl. Jake scooted over, letting Heeseung have more space. Daisy immediately clung to his torso, humming in content as his hands stroked her head.
Within minutes, she'd fallen asleep. "Is she gonna be okay?" Niki asked, glancing with slight jealousy at their curled up bodies.
"She'll be fine," Heeseung assured. "She just needs some rest. Did anyone tell our manager?" Jungwon nodded, placing a fresh ice pack on Daisy's head. She winced in her sleep at first before relaxing.
Eventually, the others retired to their bedroom leaving Heeseung alone with a still-sleeping Daisy. "Hyungs, have you noticed that Daisy's only ever that baby-like with Heeseung hyung?" They nodded in response.
"Why?" the maknae couldn't help but ask.
"Maybe because he's the oldest?" Sunoo suggested.
"I think that has something to do with it," Jungwon confirmed. "She told me before she feels most vulnerable with him, even though she trusts all of us."

•They were playing Mafia and everyone suspected Daisy.
"It's really not me!" she insisted. "Oppa, you believe me right?"
Everyone turned to Heeseung as the camera zoomed in on the two of them. She had given him the puppy eyes, weakening his usual intellectual sharpness.
[ The eldest's conclusion is...? ]
"I believe her," he confessed, earning shouts from the others about how easily he was manipulated by their female member.

•"But I don't want to kill a fish," Daisy said, her eyes wide with horror. They were currently filming a fishing episode for En- O'Clock, and their Daisy was having a deep moral conflict.
"How do you think we get the food we eat?" Jay tried to reason. Her lips pouted, her eyes glossing slightly.
"That's different! I'm not responsible for that animal's death! Here, I am! I can't do that!"
"Daisy," Jungwon trailed with a sigh.
"No!" she refused, crossing her arms.
[ Our Daisy is mentally a vegetarian. ]
"You'd die so fast in a survival scenario," Sunghoon sighed quietly. Heeseung, who had been quiet the entire time, finally pulled her into an embrace.
"I know it hurts you that animals are dying, right?" She nodded against his chest. "But baby, a lot of these fish are near the end of their lifespan. They can hardly swim, and are in pain. Really, we're saving them."
Daisy pulled away from his embrace, looking into his gentle eyes before sighing. "If you feel so strongly about it that you made that crap up, I guess I'll do it."

•"I'm home," Daisy called. When no one answered, her brows furrowed until she entered the dining room.
"What is all this?" she breathed, dropping her backpack in shock. There was a candle lit dinner before her, flowers placed throughout the room and Heeseung standing across from her with a cute smile on his face.
"I haven't gotten any time alone with you lately, so I convinced the younger ones to let me have you for a date night."
Her eyes watered slightly as she strode across the room to connect their lips before hugging him tightly. "This is wonderful, thank you so much."
He connected their foreheads, holding her cheeks in his hands. "You're all mine tonight, my love." She flushed slightly, smiling uncontrollably as she nodded.
