Y/n's Pov:

"so have you found a date to the yule ball y/n" hermione asks, harry looks at me with a crease forming in between his eyebrows

"no, honestly I forgot about the yule ball"

"but it's tomorrow" harry says

I sigh looking down stabbing my pancake with my fork and bringing it to my mouth and taking a big bite

fred comes up from behind me sitting next to me as he puts his arm over my shoulder, "I can take you" he says as he winks, I swallow my pancake "uh I don't know" pansy runs to the gryffindor table "y/n 5 different guys this week have asked me to put a good word in for them to you" she winks at me twice, I sit up slightly ignoring the pain I just got in my stomach

"who? I need names."

she smirks sitting down, "cedric diggory, adrian pucey, oliver wood, marcus belby, and cormac mclaggen oh and Luna asked to put a good word in too"

"wow, I-uh that's a lot" I say as I slightly choke on my water

"so do you have a date for the ball" she asks

I look down, "no"

"WHAT, okay it's fine we'll find you one I mean a bunch of people want to take you"

I sigh, "I think I wanna go alone pans, with you I mean"

she looks at me with that 'bitch are you serious' face but then relaxes "okay" she says as she rolls her eyes, I smile widely

regulus comes to our table, "actually you'll be going with me since I don't have a date to the ball" I raise my brows looking at pansy as she death stares us

"okay" I smile a bit, pansy kicks my leg "you have a bunch of guys asking you and instead you go with your friend" I roll my eyes "yes pansy parkinson" she rolls her eyes and sighs "ugh what ever, I guess you guys would eh look good together" she smirks and regulus holds back his grin

"but I get to pick your suit" I say as I poke my finger in his chest

"of course my lady" he says as he bows kissing my hands and walking back to the slytherin table, I chuckle at his silliness "gosh y/n you are so oblivious" ron says

*At Hogsmeade*

"no way that's mental" hermione says as she laughs pansy tries talking but she was laughing so hard she could barley breathe "I swear!" pansy says as she sucks in a breath

I look back at them smiling, as we walk in hogsmeade I see a dark alley and a shop at the end of it, "hey guys do you know what that shop is?" I question

pansy stops laughing "hm no, it looks pretty sketchy tho let's go a different way" I turn around nodding

finally after 15 minutes we find a dress shop named, "belba's dresses"

we walk in and see girls running everywhere and other women passing dresses over to the younger girls

"how may I help you girls?" a french lady asks

"we were wondering if we could try on some dresses, the yule ball is tomorrow" hermione says, I nod smiling
