The smell of blood was never something that bothered Rogue, but down in these sewers the blood was something else.

Shadow and Kaniko had been walking for awhile shadows legs where aching but he needed to get back to his allies. His friend he needed his child, he needed to protect her.

The two thought through wither skeletons, skeletons, piglins, blazes and magma cubes just trying to get to the portal how? The two took a wrong turn but eventually they made it as they stood out into the campfire to find the place deadly silent.

Dead bodies lay scattered across the ground, "froggy's a good kid she'd be at the tower." Stated Shadow earning a nod as the two walk to the tower and open the door and are greeted with a gun held to their faces.

Froggy suddenly appeared out of nowhere and hit the person with a gun over the head with a frying pan as shadow breathed a sigh of relax, it was a simulation trooper just one he couldn't take in head to head combat if disarmed but he didn't know that.

Flower had come down as well, the two where grabbing snacks after all shadow had left a vague book about making sure froggy ate so flowers thought process is self explanatory.

Shadow pulling out a pocket knife lunged at the trooper but the trooper smirked under their mask. 'Shadow that one has a mask that's an elite' hissed Faded.

Shadow didn't process in time and found himself thrown into a wall "Dad!" Called Froggy rushing over Kaniko just started trading blows with the elite using their own knife getting slammed into a bed before shadow lunged at the elite again.

"You're pattern is easy old man" stated the elite stabbing towards shadows heart but he wasn't there, "but a bunch of old man's patterns combined isn't" chirped infinite.

The elite nodding understanding the thought process behind infinite before tapping their foot and tripping him knocking him into a wall, froggy then tried to strike at the elite but was knocked back as the elite when to strike a final blow on froggy.

Flower stood protectively in front of froggy falling back the elite nodded and left. "Asshole...." Hissed Shadow trying to get up but he couldn't he was in to much pain.

"Froggy.......why is everything cold?" Questioned Flower to no response but tear drops. "No no no no no no" hissed Faded taking control of the body and crawling over.

"Look flower, I know you don't trust me but it isn't the time for you yet please don't go..." muttered Faded searching through his inventory for any healing items.

"Can you tell them I made it froggy?" Questioned flower wiping one of froggys tears, "of course" responded Froggy as Flower turned to faded, "faded..can you get them out?"

Faded wordlessly nodded pulling out a notch Apple, "and I can get you out to I can, I've been a vet once I can probably...." mumbled faded offering the apple.

"It's fine, why are you guys crying? It's no biggie I mean we are gonna see each other again I promise that." Flower softly smiled turning back to froggy "I'm getting tired goodnight."

And with that Flower's pulse slowed until it wasn't there leaving froggy crying into the shoulder of flower.

Kaniko just stood wordlessly they wanted to react but they didn't want to upset anyone so they wordlessly left with their own tears.

Faded reverted into shadow who stood up and went to leave, "take me with you" said froggy in a stern demanding tone. "Where I'm going is no place for a child." Stated Shadow, "then don't go and come with me" stated Froggy.

"What?" Questioned Shadow turning his head to froggy having prepared armour, "So where are you're fellow soliders dad" questioned froggy, "Hring you're daughter to work day isn't for another week or so" sighed Shadow, "fine you can come but if you get hurt I'm gonna kill everything" stated Shadow froggy nodded.
