After Reina's disappearance, Daniel became distant and cold. He picked up more shift at the restaurant where he worked part time.

Whenever his mother or Michelle tried to talk to him, he brushed them off coldly.

Sarah regretted sending Reina away. Reina's absence created hatred between her and her son.

Daniel was on his bed looking at Reina's pictures and the videos they made together on his phone.

His phone rang, he saw the strange number but decided to pick it anyway.

He thought he was hallucinating when her heard the voice stutter

"Who is on the line, please?" He asked his heart beating widely in chest.

"Hello Daniel. It's me Reina your sister" he heard. He hung up immediately because he thought he was hearing things.

He decided to take a walk to clear his head. He wore a pair of jeans trousers and a yellow top.

He decided to wear yellow because yellow was Reina's favorite color.

He wore his black sneakers, picked his headset and walked out.

"Where are you going?" Michelle asked.

"None of your business" he answered coldly before walking out.

He decided to call the person back later to apologize for hanging up rudely.

After walking for a while, he went to sit at the park where he would take Reina whenever he wants to hide her from his mom.

Realizing that it was already dark, Daniel stood up to go home.

He entered the house and saw his mom looking very worried. He felt bad fit worrying her but pretended not to care.

Miranda was worried. It had already been three good weeks, yet, Dylan hadn't called.

She couldn't call him because it was a very risky thing to do. Only Dylan knew the right time to talk.

Miranda's mind wasn't settled and Leo noticed it when he went to meet her in her space.

"What is bothering you?" Leo asked her.

"Nothing. I'm fine" she replied without looking at him.

"Mira, I'm here as your friend not your boss" Leo said and held her hand across the table.

"I miss my brother" Miranda said.

"Why don't you call him?" Leo asked.

"I can't." Mira replied.

"Why?" Leo asked. Mira looked away and said nothing.

"Miranda" Leo called.

Miranda sighed.

"I ran away from home because my parents wanted me to marry someone I don't love. My brother helped me run away. He is the only one who knows the right time to call me" Mira said

"What is your brother's name?" Leo asked.

Miranda withdrew her and placed it on her laps.

"It doesn't matter" she replied.

Dylan was the crown prince and if not all, so many people would know him.

Leo decided to let it slide for the moment. Leo hesitated before leaving. He had recently discovered that he loved to be with Mira all the time.

The following day at work, Miranda saw a bouquet of flowers on her table. She was surprised because it was the first time.

There was a card attached to it. Miranda picked it.

"Everyday is a good day to be alive, whether the sun is shining or not" the card read

Miranda smiled at the thought of someone sending her flowers and arranged then in a vase and placed on her table.

At that moment, Leo came out of his office. He frowned when he saw the flowers and the card.

"Who sent you those?" He asked.

Miranda shrugged. "It's anonymous" she replied.

"Do you like them?" He asked.

Miranda shrugged again. "It's the thought that counts"

Miranda settled down to work. "Do you need something?" She asked.

Leo shook his head and returned back to his office.

"Why did he come here if he doesn't need anything?" Miranda asked herself.

"Hi" two students greeted Reina as soon as she stepped into the school.

"Hi" Reina replied.

"My name is David and this is my twin sister Davida" the boy said with a smile and Reina returned the smile. She wondered why they were talking to her.

"You're probably wondering why we're here" Davida said and Reina nodded.

"We want to be your friend" Davida said with a smile

Reina was happy but she didn't show it. It seemed too good to be true.

"What is if it's a set up" she thought.

"Thanks. But I don't want to be your friend" she said and walked away leaving them behind.

"If it is a set up, they would come back and persuade her to become their friend. But if it wasn't, they wouldn't speak to her again" Reina thought with a smile as she walked to her class

As she entered the classroom, few students greeted her and she replied happily.

She went to her seat beside Jeremy. Jeremy's face was buried in a book and he didn't look up even when Reina sat down.

"Good morning" she greeted. Jeremy ignored her. She would not give up just yet.

"Please, be my friend" she begged.

The twins entered the class gaining Reina's attention. Reina and Davida's eyes met for a second but Davida quickly looked away.

Jeremy looked up. "I didn't think you'd want friends considering the fact that you rejected the twins" Jeremy said.

Reina's eyes widened. "You saw that?"

"Why did you reject them tho?" Jeremy asked.

"Yesterday you didn't want to be my friend. Today, two people walked to me wanting to be my friend. How do you think I'll react?" Reina said.

"They mean well. They really want to be your friend" Jeremy said.

"How would you know? You hardly ever talk to anybody" Reina pointed out.

"No one talks to me anyway, so why should I? Besides, everybody here is from a rich family and I'm not. I'm lucky to be here" Jeremy.

Reina wanted to ask questions especially how he got into Best high. But the teacher came in.

"This conversation isn't over." Reina said.

Jeremy rolled his eyes and ignored her concentrating on the teacher.

Reina couldn't help but steal glances at Jeremy.

"Stop staring at me and concentrate on the lesson" Jeremy said.

Reina blushed and looked away
