Your Not Alone Anymore

Chapter 8

Yes, school was finally over. The best part of the school day for some, sad for others who wanted to hang out more with their friends but could not, due to their parents. Y/n was on the happy side, of getting away from school and what made it even better was it was Friday which means she would have all the time to sleep during the weekend. Let's be honest. Who likes getting up early? Especially if you have to go to school. She was walking through the hall when she spotted Toyuki and her friends up ahead. She froze, unsure of what to do. She could go back and exit through the other doors but that was all the way on the other side of the school and it had more people on that side. 'Maybe if I just keep my head down she won't recognize me' she thought. 

With her head down, she began to walk, until a hand on her shoulder stopped her. She gasped and turned around, fear was in her eyes that it was one of Toyuki's minions who has spotted her and was gonna inform her. But it quickly subsided as she saw it was Levi!. "Oh, Levi what are you doing here?" she questioned, turning around to face him completely now. "Oh I was just about to walk out and I just so happened to spot you, so wanna walk out together?" he asks, smiling. Y/n had a small tint of pink on her cheeks. 'Maybe if I walk with him I won't get bullied today!' she thought. Smiling as well she looked up at him. "Yes, I'd love to" she says. He was so happy inside. "Great! Well then lest's go!" he says taking her hand as they walked past Toyuki and her minions to the doors. Y/n kept close to Levi as she was still nervous.  Levi seemed to have noticed this and asked her. "Are you ok Y/n?" "Y-yeah, that girl we just passed was Toyuki, the one with the blue eyes and ash blonde hair" she says, looking down. 

'So that's Toyuki' Levi says in his mind. "Were you worried that she was going to hurt you?" he asks. "Well yes, She didn't today since you were here and like every other girl in the school, has a crush on you so she didn't want to look bad in front of you" Y/n explains. "What about you?" he asks, curious by her answer. "Huh?" Y/n asked confused, looking at him. "Do you have a crush on me?" he asks while looking at her. 'Where did this come from? Is he playing around with me?' Y/n asks herself.  "Well your very kind and sweet and......yes I do like you but I wouldn't stand a chance against the other girls...." she says, her voice lowering so that Levi wouldn't hear but he did and he smiled.  Stopping, he turned around to face her leaning down a bit so his face was right up close to hers. Her face turned red as she was not expecting him to be this close to her. "What if....I did?" he asks her in a low voice smirking.  "W-What?" she asks. "What if I had a crush on you?" Her heart started beating again as butterflies swarmed around in her stomach. 'Why would he like an ordinary girl like me?' she asks herself.  Levi suddenly pulls back. "Sorry i didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, please forgive me" he says. 

Y/n nodded, still too dazed from what had happened as they both continued their walk home. However, she did not notice the glares that were sent her way. As Toyuki and her friends watched what happened before their very eyes. All had anger, hatred burning in them but not as much as Toyuki's own. 'You've crossed the limit Y/n' she says in her mind watching as the two of them walked away together, laughing and talking. 

During the walk home it was full of laughter.  They were both having so much fun they didn't realize that they were already at her house. "Well this is it" Y/n says turning to Levi. "Ah I see, nice place you've got" he remarks causing her to chuckle. "I guess but it's not much. As long as I have a place to keep me sheltered and rest my head" she says smiling at him. 'She's so pure and grateful, even if she dosen't have much' Levi smiles at this thought. "Well see you Monday or during the weekend if the universe loves us." he says chuckling. "I'll message you later, bye" he says. "Bye and thanks for walking me home" Y/n says waving him bye as he did the same before walking off. "It was nothing" he smiles. Once he was out of sight, Y/n unlocked the door and went inside, closing and locking it behind her.
