The class seemed to drag on forever and Y/n was getting impatient. She really wanted to see Adayashi. At least a familiar face from the ones she were seeing right now. God heard her prayers and the bell rang. She sighed in relief. She quickly packed up her things and bolted out of the room, heading to History. She opened the door and walked in. She spotted Adayashi sitting at her desk. 'Woah she got here fast but how come I never saw her before? If she has this class with me then she was here all the time, I just hadn't noticed her' Y/n felt a little bit sad because if she wasn't so shy she may have been able to make friends with her earlier on. Shaking her head from the negative thoughts, she walked up to her table
Adayashi looked up from the book she was reading and her purple optics widened in concern, shock and worry. "Hey Adayashi, good mor-" Y/n got cut off by her. "Y/n! Goodness what happened to you are you alright?" Adayashi questioned the girl, her motherly side taking over. "Yes I'm fine, thanks for asking" Y/n says, hoping she won't press too much about it. "You have a patch on your eye, obviously your not fine. What happened? You can tell me, that's what friends do right?" Adayashi says, looking worriedly at her friend. Y/n looked down. "I'll tell you all at lunch..." she murmured quietly. Adayashi sighed knowing she wasn't gonna get anything out for her until then. "Alright" she said, sitting back in her seat as Y/n took her seat.
However during the class Adayashi couldn't stop thinking about what could've possibly happened to Y/n that caused her to get an eyepatch. 'Whatever it is it must be really serious and bad' she thought. She shook her head and tried to focus on the lesson telling herself that Y/n was just probably clumsy and that's how she got it. She wasn't expecting the truth that Y/n was gonna tell them all later on. No the thought never crossed her mind. She regained her focus after a few minutes of trying and successfully answered the question on the board. Meanwhile with Y/n she was nervous. How would she explain it to her friends? That she had been bullied since childhood. She could tell a lie but she didn't like lying, in fact she hated it. And she had already promised Adayashi the truth. She tried to focus on the class but unlike Adayashi she was too nervous, she didn't even notice when the teacher called on her. "Y/n,?" "Y/n!" She looked up at the teacher, everyone else in the classroom was staring at her. "Y-Yes sir?" she responded, too embarrassed to look at anyone else but the teacher.
"Are you alright?" he asks her. "I've been calling you for a while now and you seem to be out of it, is everything alright?" "Yes, I'm fine" she answered, feeling all eyes on her ans she just wanted to disappear right there and then. "Okay then, please try to pay attention then" the teacher says before turning back to the board. Y/n took a deep breath to calm her nerves. And she was able to focus on the lesson a little bit more. Class finished and she and Adayashi said their goodbyes and walked their separate ways. She headed to Spanish.
Lunchtime rolled around and Y/n was more than nervous. 'Well here goes nothing' she gave herself a small pep talk. She was about to open the cafeteria doors when she got a message. It was from Adayashi. She clicked on it.
Adayashi: Hey Y/n, we're having lunch on the under the sakura trees today.
Y/n: Oh which one- cause there are a lot-
Adayashi: You know the one where the benches are?
Y/n: I think so, yeah.
Adayashi: Great that's where we are, come join us.
Y/n: Ok, I'll be there soon.
She switched off her phone and she was already carrying her lunchkit. She walked to the Sakura trees. When outside, she scanned the area and spotted them in the far distance, laughing and talking. The wave of nervousness washed over her again. She took a deep breath of the fresh air and walked towards them. Upon nearing them, all eyes turned on her, but they didn't see her face as she was looking down and some of her hair covered her face. "Hey Y/n!" she heard Yanashino'd cheerful voice. Hesitantly, she looked up to meet all of their eyes and faces on her. She froze, their happy faces turning to one of worry and concern. Adayashi's expression was sad but she wasn't as shocked as the others as she saw it earlier on. "Y/n.....your eye, what happened? " Aikaki asks, as the girls made space for her on the bench.
The girls sat on the bench while the boys sat on the grass. Y/n took a seat and sighed. "Well.....yesterday after school I was walking out with Levi until he got attacked by his fangirls, some of them pushed me out of the way and I decided to walk home by myself. I bumped into a girl and she just so happened to be my......... childhood....bully." Y/n says. They all stayed quiet as they waited for her to continue. "I told her I was sorry but she didn't let it pass and this happened...." Y/n said slowly, taking off the eyepatch as she looked at the ground. The whole group looked in shock at the huge animal-like scratch on Y/n's eye.
