Your Not Alone Anymore

Chapter 13

After they had all un-packed their things, they met in the living room. "It's already lunch, let's eat" Levi says. "What are we eating?" Yanashino asks. "Pizza" Levi says, taking it out of his bag.  He opened the box and everyone took a slice. He had also bought something to drink. Pepsi. He filled every-ones cups before handing it to them. Sitting down now and eating on the couch," they discussed what they should do first. "I'm gonna stay in my room and read" Adayashi says. "Please tell me your joking" Yanashino sighs. "No I'm not, why?" she asks, sending him a glare, only this time it didn't seem to work. "Adayashi, we planned this to get away from work and studying! It's to relax, not read" he complains. "Okay then, what are you going to do?" she questions, sitting up. "I'm going in the pool!" he says proudly. "Wow and that's something to be proud of" Adayashi says sarcastically. Yanashino looked sad, like a lost puppy. His lips pouted. "You all are so mean to me except Suzumi and Y/n" he says. "Y/n smiled, taking a sip of her soda, She had long finished her pizza and was just drinking out the soda. 

"I guess I have to go to the pool then too. I have to watch over Yanashino and make sure he doesn't drown. I'm like his father" Levi says, earning a glare from Yanashino and laughs from the others. Y/n couldn't help but laugh. It was true. Ever since she met them, he was always like a father figure to Yanashino while Adayashi was the mother. Everyone else were the children. "You all really do act like a family" Y/n remarks. "Well obviously, someone has to make sure this group doesn't get out of hand" Levi says, looking to Yanashino at the last part. "I'm more of the mother when it comes to their grades and safety, otherwise I don't care at all" Adayashi says cooly. Suzumi spoke up. "I'm the obedient child." "What do you mean? I'm obedient too!" Aikaki jumps up.  "Well yes, but I'm more obedient than you" she smiles. "Bu- I-" he was speechless. "No you aren't!" he retorts back. "Oh no not another 2-" Y/n says looking worried and drained. Adayashi had a neutral expression on her face. "Are you not worried about this?" Y/n asks her. "Nope, I'm used to it" she replied. "Wow, it has me wondering just what you went through with them in the past" Y/n commented causing her to chuckle lightly. "You really don't wanna know" she smiles as Y/n smiled back.

"I see that your wound is starting to heal, that's great" she says looking at Y/n's eye. That caused the others to stop their conversations and look to her now. "Yeah it has, I've been treating it. But I'm sure it will leave a bad scar" she frowned. "I understand that she bullies you, but don't you talk to your parents about it?" Levi asks. Y/n looked down at her lap when he mentioned her parents. "Oh- I'm sorry forgive me I didn't mean to pry-" he hurried to apologize but stopped when she cut him off. "No....it's alright." She looked back up. "I....live by myself. My parents gave me up at birth. I guess I was a burden on them. Or that I was never good enough and might never be" she says staring blankly at the floor. "I didn't have any other relatives so I ended up in an orphanage. No one came to adopt me and I stayed there until I became old enough to live by myself. The orphanage was nice enough to give me money so I could afford my own place." By the end of her explanation, liquid had formed in her eyes and was running down her cheeks. The room was silent as they all glanced at each other but she couldn't see since her head was down. 

Sounds of them getting up and walking over to her caused her to lift her head up but before she could, they all embraced her in a warm and big hug. Of course she hugged back as she really needed one at the moment. "Don't cry Y/n, we're here for you now" Levi whispers to her since he was the closest to her then. "Yeah, we'll never leave you!" Yanashino says. "Promise?" she asks. "Promise" they all responded as she locked pinkies with all of them. "They missed out on a really great person." Aikaki says thoughtfully as the others nodded. "Thank you Aikaki" she smiled up to him. "No problem Y/n if you need anything don't hesitate to come to one of us for help. We'll gladly help you in whatever way we could" he says giving her a hug. She hugged back.
