I wake to my alarm going off at 7:30 am. I groan and shut it off, wanting to go back to sleep. I never had to get up early to go to work at the club. I sit up and all my anxiety comes rushing back from the night before. I have my first mission today.

Leo gave me an easy mission, I can do this. I'm the official seducer of this mafia, I can do anything.

I laugh at my thoughts and get out of bed. I begin to change into workout clothes, because today I have my first training session.

After I tie my hair up in a secure ponytail I hear my door open. I leave the bathroom to find Leo in my doorway, his black workout shirt pulled tightly across his chest.

"Are you ready?"

I nod, "Yeah."

He turns and begins walking away. I have to jog a bit to catch up with him. We walk for a while in silence as we make our way to the training room. When we enter, the room goes silent, and everyone looks at Leo. Some looks are filled with fear, others with admiration, yet they all listen, waiting for his instructions.

"Clear Floor 1 for Ember and I to train. Get back to work everyone, enemies won't wait for you to learn how to fight before they attack."

People scram from Floor 1 as everyone else quickly begins training again, completely focused on what they're doing to please Leo.

Leo takes me to the workout equipment at Floor 1 and points to the punching bag.

"If you're going to learn how to fight, you need to start with knowing how to punch." He picks up some workout tape from a shelf on the wall, "Give me your hand."

I put my hand out to him and he begins to wrap it with the tape. His hands are warm and rough, yet he touches my skin gently. After wrapping both hands, he points to the bag.

"Ok, now punch it." He says. I walk over and put my hands up in fists. I take a deep breath and punch it as hard I can, it doesn't move. I expect Leo to be upset or laugh in my face, but he his face remains emotionless.

"Not terrible," He says, "Your stance needs work." He walks closer to me and puts his hands on my hips. "Feet further apart." I do as he says and move my feet. He rotates my hips and then adjusts my arms. I feel his breath against my neck and pray he doesn't notice the goose bumps that begin to form on my skin. He takes his hands off me and goes back to wear he was standing, "Punch it now. Angrily."

I look at the bag and think of everything in the world that makes me angry, and I punch it. The bag moves slightly, and Leo nods to himself. "Again. Be angrier."

I think of the drunk driver who killed my parents, and I feel my blood boil. A grunt leaves my mouth as I throw another punch at the bag.  "Keep going."

I continue to punch, again, and again, and again as I become overwhelmed with the feeling of hate inside me. All I can hear is the beating of my heart as I focus all my attention solely on bag.

"That's enough." Leo says. I step away from the bag, breathing heavily. "You're not bad," He looks me up and down quickly, "but you need to not let your emotions get the better of you."

"But you told me to get angry."

He nods, "Yes, but you can get angry without getting lost in your own head. Did you hear the other three times I told you to stop?"
