I watch from behind the bar as Erika dances around the pole in her light pink lingerie and tall heels, her tanned skin glowing against the red lights. She has every drunk man and woman in the club under her spell. Money starts falling over the stage the moment the music starts, maybe even as soon as they saw her face.

"Ember! Get to work!" My boss yells as he walks past the bar.

"Yes sir." I sigh as I turn away from the stage and begin washing empty glasses. This is my least favorite part of the night, when we are only about 45 minutes from closing and everyone is drunk and men get too handsy.

But after that, the most important part of the night for me begins.

As Erika leaves the stage, a tall middle aged man starts walking towards the bar. He sits down on the chair in front of me, barely making it without falling to the floor, and burps.

"Another beer." He says, keeping his eyes hungrily staring at the stage, waiting for the next stripper to go on.

As I begin making his beer, I look out of the corner of my eye at the watch on his wrist.

Looks fancy, but I don't recognize the brand. Could be fake or cheap.

My eyes then move to his neck, bare and without a necklace.

I finish making his beer and hand it to him, and that's when I notice the ring on his finger. I sigh as he quickly runs back to his seat as the last stripper comes on stage.

"Em!" Erika yells as she enters the bar. She has a long coat on around her lingerie.

"Hey Erika," I greet her as she comes over, "Is there an extra coat in the back?"

She sighs, "Yeah, you doing this again?"

"I have to." I reply, lowering my voice.

"You should've just become a stripper! It's way easier than what you're doing." She smiles.

I laugh, "I could never. I don't have the magic like you do."

"Whatever, you're like the master of seducing people."

I roll my eyes with a laugh. "I don't want that many eyes on me, just one at a time is fine."

"Oooh," she smirks and I smirk back. "Ember," she changes the subject, "I thought you weren't going to be doing this as much."

"I know, I just need a bit more money to cover the rent this month."

She sighs, "Ok fine." She checks her phone, "I've got to go. Be safe, I love you."

"Bye, love you too." I blow her a kiss as she exits the bar and leaves out the back door.

I wait anxiously until my shift ends, watching to see who is still around the club. I see a woman near the back, covered in diamond jewelry.

Perfect

I check the time once more to see that my shift is over. I quickly exit the bar and go into the back room. At this point, most of the other strippers have left and the other workers are getting ready to close the club.
