4:13 am January 8th, 1790
I lie awake staring at the white ceiling in the cold dark and empty room I stared at the dangling lamp cord as it swung and suddenly I saw my deceased husband's tiny figure hanging from the cord, dark red marks on his neck
"This all could have been avoided Alex but no your a selfish pitiful excuse of a human " I heard him say though noticing that there is no revenant present. I think looking at the repulsive sight of the tiny rotting man hanging from the lamp cord I then saw that the voice belonged to him. I attempted to fall back asleep to get the disturbing sight out of my head.
5:17 am January 8th, 1790
Once again I am wide awake at an abnormal time I can judge by looking outside that it is still far too early to get out of bed so to silence the abnormal thoughts and the paranoia I go back to sleep thankfully I can.
It is now 7:05 am January 8th, 1790, and I will soon be heading to the doctor's office. I look at the world around me it seems to be slightly different certain parts bizarre looking. I pour myself a glass of water instead of coffee since I don't seem to be in the mood. I then take yesterday's leftover Caribbean Johnny cakes out of the fridge and heat them up when they are done I slowly eat them since I am not in a rush. when I am done I walk to the doctor's office

At the doctor's office
"Hello sir do you have an appointment," the woman at the reception desk said
"Yes I do"
"Ok well check in your information and wait over there," she says handing me a piece of paper and gesturing over to the waiting corner. I fill out the information and sit and wait for about 15 minutes then dr. Jekyll comes out and says
"Alexander burr come into the office," he says as I get up from my seat and walk into his office "have a seat" he then says pulling out a chair for me
"Thank you very much"
"No problem I heard to scheduled an appointment to see more of a mental than physical problem" dr. Jekyll says with a serious look on his face
"Yes that is exactly 2hat I came for"
"Ok, could you please specify some of your symptoms" he suggest I explain how things have been going for me for about five minutes but then he says "let me see high paranoia, mental confusion, hallucinations, and religious delusions like a ghost? I think it's safe to diagnose you with schizophrenia I will be prescribing you some medications for you to pick up at the drug store have a nice day"
"Thank you dr. Jekyll have a nice day" I say as I exit the room thinking well at least it's good to know what I'm dealing with
