Chapter 3: The Dawn Library

"We're almost there everybody," Claude announced. 

Byleth questioned, "How can you be so sure we're almost there?" Claude looked around the area. There seemed to be some hidden building among the forest. "Claude! Are you going to answer my question!?" 

Claude muttered, "One second..." Then he ordered the wyverns to go down.

"CLAUDE!!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING?!?!" Ayato shouted. Then they safely landed.

Chrom whispered, "Claude... maybe next time you should give us a warning before making an erupt downfall..."

"Nonsense, giving you guys a warning ruins the fun out of it," Claude giggled. Chrom laughed alongside him and Ayato as well. Byleth just stood there staring at Claude.

"You... are nothing Claude," Byleth grumbled.

Claude laughed, "Relax! It's all in good fun! There's no reason to get so pissed off." Byleth stared at Claude and then rolled his eyes. Soon the group started walking. They found a building that seemed rather big

"Is that the building we're looking for?" Ayato asked. Claude nodded and dragged them over towards the building. They all stood in front of the building.

Chrom asked, "Does the building have a name?" Claude looked around when Byleth shifted his focus on a sign. He walked over to it and read the name of the library.

"This is Dawn Library," Byleth announced. Chrom, and Ayato got excited.

Chrom cheered, "This is the place then! Let's go ahead and head on inside!" They all walked inside the building and it was extremely vast and quiet. It felt empty but there was definitely people inside the building. They all started to look around. The library was HUGE, it seemed impossible to find the stuff you were looking for.

"What are we looking for again?" Claude questioned.

"We're looking for more information about Asternia," Chrom explained. Claude nodded and they began to search around the library. Ayato and Byleth searched around on the first floor while Chrom and Claude searched on the second floor. While the library was small on the outside. It was huge on the inside.

"Do you find anything yet Byleth?" Ayato questioned. Then he noticed Byleth gazing over towards Chrom. He was so distracted by him he couldn't focus at the task at hand. "BYLETH!" Byleth jumped up and turned around. Ayato was irritated and wasn't in the best mood. 

Byleth apologized, "Sorry, I just really like Chrom."

"I understand you have a crush on Chrom, Byleth, but the thing is we can't continue this. You have to let the crush go, ESPECIALLY since he's married!" Ayato yelled. Suddenly Byleth told him to hush.

Byleth muttered, "I don't mind you scolding me but that doesn't mean you yell! We're in a library still." Ayato nodded. Soon enough the two got back to work looking for the book about Asternia.

Chrom sighed, "There has to be a book about Asternia somewhere within these library books..."

"The other thing is we don't know what it's called or what it looks like," Claude sighed. The two continued to look through each of the books. They were searching for hours and hours. Yet there seemed to be no sign of anything. Perhaps they weren't able to find anything about Asternia at all.

Ayato asked, "Have you guys find event the slightest clue?"

Claude replied sorrowfully, "No, nothing at all. I wish I could find at least something but nothing seemed to work. We can't find anything."

Chrom muttered, "Someone here has to know about Asternia. I know for a fact Dawn has to have books about the other places."

"What do you suppose we do to find those books?" Byleth questioned.
