My husband just came in our bedroom and told me to get ready I've been asking what's going on but he's not saying shit to me... So I shower, get dressed in black tights, his white biggie baggy t-shirt, black socks and Gucci slides, leave my dreads loose.

We arrive at the children's private hospital and I'm feeling a bit scared.

ZAKHELE:our son is in there, I found him this morning, but he had burn marks, that son of a fat bitch burnt him.

I just cried, I cried so much I mean how much could he hate him, to burn a 10months baby, he could've had mercy.
ME:his just a baby!
ZAKHELE :I'm sorry.
ME:Baby, thank you so much, I love you and I'm sorry too, for my behavior and...

We go out the car and walk into his ward, it's private, hilarious but I understand.
The minute I see him tears stream down, I thought I lost him forever, but his not the Yaya I know, his so de-attached from everything, his just playing with his toes, his laying on his tummy, the doctor comes in.
ME:Doctor why is he laying on his tummy?
DOC:Well, Mrs Gumede....
He explains to me that he was burnt on his his back two metal fork burns, but he says it's nothing ointments can't fix but bath times will be difficult.
Zakhele demand to have him discharged, even though his going to need baby trauma counselling, twice a week.

Zakhele is trying to lighten up his mood but we seem to be failing, I think his way too traumatised.
I'm sad but I'm happy his home, I guess we just have to work on getting him back mentally and emotionally.

ZAKHELE

I'm driving my family back home in the BMW ix, Luyanda is sitting in the back seat with a Bayanda who is very clingy to his mother I think what happened really got to him, I understand though and his never been so far away from people that he knows. When I get my hands on that son of a bitch his really going to pay and I'm going to sell6his organs to the black market but before that I just need to spend a little more time with him and my wife.
Before I know it, we home. The family doesn't know that I found him excluding her father, he did kind of scare me "Listen here Axe, if you don't find him then I'll find him myself and if I find him before you then you'll be sorry my dear son-in-law" yes, I was shit scared.

We silently sitting in the car with Bayanda sleeping...

LUYANDA:what now?
ZAKHELE:I don't know,we'll see.
LUYANDA:ok.

We just walked into the house, I'm carrying my son his head in my neck, covered by his blankie. His so quiet, he must be really traumatised...

When we walk into the house everyone (king, queen, my father and Thando) looks at us and their eyes travel to Zakhele whose carrying Bayanda...

MA:Oh God is good
She says almost running to hug Zakhele, Olothando hugs me I shed I a few tears.
