Swinging Door

You treat me like a swinging door
You say you're leaving and come back for more

You open me up
And come inside
Taking all that you can find
Love, secrets, trust, memories
Then you run off screaming "you've had enough of me"

Time always proves you wrong
Within three weeks you come back singing the same old song
We're a broken record stuck on repeat
And I can already taste defeat

But not this time

I'm closing up shop
Shutting us down
It's a little too late for you to want to turn back around
I've given you chance after chance and all you did was let me down
It's time you had a taste of your own medicine

I'm not your swinging door.
