Chapter 12

Hwang Haru's POV:

"So.. I may or may not have made Hyunjin come home a bit earlier than he was supposed to.. He was supposed to come Friday... but since I told him about the whole.. Taehyun thingy... he got on a plane and is flying here right now.." Yeji said awkwardly. My eyes widened and I start chasing her around the house again.

"YEJI! YOU ARE SO DUMB! I'M TAKING AWAY YOUR SNACKS FOR A WEEK!" I yell as she runs up to her room. I groan loudly and walk to my room. It's not that I don't want Hyunjin here, it's just... I don't know?... Maybe it's because Yeji made Hyunjin come here earlier than supposed to, because she accused me of kicking Taehyun out of his room!

I jump on my bed and lay flatly on it. I roll to my other side of the bed and grab my phone. I decided to text Felix.

HARU

Felix? Are you awake?

LIXXIE <3

Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?

HARU

Idk, maybe because you like to sleep during the day half of the time because you never sleep when you're supposed to.

LIXXIE <3

Okay, okay. What do you want?

HARU

So, I just got accused by Yeji, of kicking Taehyun out of his room. So, then she called Hyunjin and made him fly here early aka today because of that. She did tell him the truth tho..

LIXXIE <3

Hold on, who's Taehyun?

HARU

He's that guy that I met. I never told you his name or the fact that he has to live in my house-

LIXXIE <3

Oh.. Okay continue your story.

LIXXIE <3

Wait- Hyunjin's coming home early?

LIXXIE <3

Aren't you supposed to be happy?

HARU

I am, but I'm angry at Yeji for making Hyunjin come early before his break because she accused me of something.

LIXXIE <3

So, you're whole day is ruined now?

LIXXIE <3

Or, are you gonna deny it?

HARU

Shut up and yes. My whole day is ruined!

We texted and called for the past few hours. I check the time and realize it was 9:00 PM. I haven't eaten dinner yet and I'm extremely hungry. I get off of my bed and go to the kitchen.

"Ramen.. ramen... ramen.." I mumbled, searching the cabinets. As I was searching for ramen, I heard the front door open slowly. I turn my head and see Hyunjin with all his luggage. I quickly run over there and help him.

"Hey Jinnie! I'm glad you're back home." I say, taking one of his suitcases.

"Yeah, me too.. I'll have to do online classes since I came back home too early." I nodded and brought his suitcase upstairs. I get to his room and set his suitcase down.

"How's Taehyun?" He asked.

"Um.. Good." I say. There long silence and the tension is very awkward.

"I'm gonna go... so you can.. uh... get your room.. ready." I say awkwardly. I quickly make my way out of his room. I get downstairs and see Taehyun coming out of his room. I ignore him... kind of, and go looking for my ramen again.

I finally find one and grab it. I see out of the corner of my eye that Taehyun's laying down on the couch again. I don't understand why he hasn't been getting sleep.

I put water in the pot then start to boil the water. I go to the living room closet and grab a random blanket. I walk out of the closet and go over to Taehyun. I neatly place the blanket on top of him.

Kang Taehyun's POV:

I walk out of my room, not being able to sleep again. I look to my side and see Haru rummaging through the cabinets. Then she pulled out ramen. I go to the couch and lay down. I close my eyes hoping to fall asleep. I suddenly felt something go on top of my body.

I slightly open my eyes and see Haru laying a soft blanket on me.

Hwang Haru's POV:

After I finished laying the blanket on top of him, I try to walk back when I hear my water boiling. I suddenly felt a hand on my wrist. I look over my shoulder and see Taehyun, looking up at me.

"Taehyun, I thought you were asleep?" I say. He suddenly pulls me back and grabbed me by the waist.

"Taehyun..? What are you doing?" I ask, trying to get his arms off me.

"Taehyun, my brother is going to kill you if he sees you." I say, still struggling to get out. He pulls me closer and tightens his grip.

"Taehyun! Let go, I need to make my ramen!" I whisper yell. I sigh and think for a bit. I know what I need to say... but if I say it, I'm going to regret it because I always keep my promises. I can never break a promise.. It's just physically impossible for me to!

"Let me go turn off the stove and I promise I'll come back to cuddle with you..." I say quietly. He lets me go then I go turn the stove off. I walk back to Taehyun regretting what I promised already. He grabs my waist again and pulls me next to him.

I was facing away from him and I got my phone out. I decided to scroll on Instagram, watch videos, stuff like that. He turned me around and now I was facing him.

"Taehyun? Why did you do that?" I asked him. I knew he was awake, but instead of responding to me, he buried his face in my neck.

Hwang Hyunjin's POV:

I check the time and see it's 10:37 P.M. I walk downstairs to go and check on Haru. I get down and see Taehyun and Haru cuddling on the couch. I smiled and went back upstairs.

Normally I would break the two up and make them sleep in their own beds, but I trust Taehyun. He's a very nice kid and I know he'll treat Haru well. I get back upstairs and go in my room. Well, mainly because me and Taehyun had a.. 'conversation' a while ago..

Hwang Haru's POV:

I put my phone up and see that Taehyun is already sleeping. I move Taehyun's head off my shoulder and turn back around so that I'm not facing him. Taehyun hasn't been getting a lot of sleep lately and I'm confused. I can feel his grip tighten around my waist and I close my eyes, falling asleep.
