Chapter 28

Hwang Haru's POV:

He smirked.

Why would he do something like this to me.. I can't believe he would threaten me and hurt me...

"I thought you wouldn't figure it out but.. it seems like you did." Beomgyu said, laughing like a maniac.

(MANIAC GOING CRAZY LIKE I HAVE A LOOSE SCREW MANIAC PING PING GOING CRAZY MANIAC... Sorry that was a little insensitive...)

Hyunjin had lost his patience and tried to tackle Beomgyu. I pulled him by his arm and he fell back on the ground.

"Hyunjin! You don't need to do this.. It's not necessary." I say, helping him up off the ground. He groaned and said,

"I wanna do it. He hurt you and threatened you. You think I'm gonna take that?" I scoff and let go of his arm. As soon as I let go of him, he launched himself towards Beomgyu. I gasp and cover my mouth. Beomgyu was bleeding already. Dang, I never knew Hyunjin could fight.. It was such a horror to watch. As much as Beomgyu has done to me, I still care for him. It hurts seeing him get beat up by my brother..

"Stop please Hyunjin!" I yelled. Regardless of what I say, he won't stop. Hyunjin was on top of Beomgyu punching him. I'm surprised Hyunjin never did this to Wooyoung..

I didn't notice but I was crying while shaking uncontrollably. You may think it is stupid to act like this when the person getting beat up hurt you, but it's not when it's your best friend. No matter how much he hurt me, I would never want to see him get beat up.

All I could hear was Beomgyu screaming for help and the impact from Hyunjin punching him.

"Stop Hyunjin! Please.." I say, closing my eyes. I've always been sensitive to blood, and the amount coming out of Beomgyu was unbearable..

I heard someone run into the room and grab onto me. I didn't know who it was but I gripped onto them. The moment I touched them, it was like I knew who it was. It was Taehyun. God knows how he got here but he was here for me.

I didn't care if it was some random person, for I just wanted to get out of here as fast as possible. Blood was coming out of Beomgyu's mouth, but I just want to get out. Taehyun drags me out of the home and now the only the I hear, is me crying.

"Taehyun please listen to me.. Get Hyunjin off of Beomgyu please!" I yell, shaking Taehyun. Hyunjin has been attacking Beomgyu for around 7 minutes now, and it seems like all of my friends are here. In a blink of an eye they're all hugging me, trying to comfort me.

"Haru, can you hear me? Breathe. Felix is in there now getting Hyunjin off." Taehyun said, wiping my face off. Bahiyyih and Kai are both here as well. Bahiyyih is playing with my hands like she always does, and Kai is rubbing my back. They were both attempting to comfort me in some sort.

I kept mumbling gibberish trying to form words. This moment is worse than the day I broke up with Wooyoung, if I'm being completely honest.

"Bahiyyih, Kai.. how do you guys normally calm her down? I've never had to do this before.." Taehyun says, looking at them for help. They both shrugged, not knowing what to do. They've never had to comfort me before.

Kang Taehyun's POV:

I was heading home cause it seemed like either Haru wasn't coming, or she was just going to be really late. I heard a bunch of screaming from the house diagonal to Haru's. I look and see it's Beomgyu's house. That's weird.. What's happening there? I heard Beomgyu, Hyunjin, and.. Haru? I change directions and I run in the house.

I go towards the screaming and I see Hyunjin beating up Beomgyu and.. Haru looked traumatized. You could look at her and visibly tell that she is trembling. I hold onto her and she immediately reacts, grabbing onto my arms tightly. She didn't doubt that someone was here to take her out of the house so I pull her all the way outside.

"Taehyun, please listen to me.. stop ignoring me. Get Hyunjin off of Beomgyu please!" She yells. She is in a state of distress seeing her best friend get hurt, but someone needs to stay out here with Haru. I sit down with her and she just holds on to me.

Bahiyyih and Kai come running here with Felix after a little bit. Kai tells Felix to get Hyunjin to calm down and that's exactly what he goes to do.

"Haru, can you hear me? Breathe. Felix is in there now getting Hyunjin off." I say, trying to get Haru to stop crying. She was just mumbling a bunch of nonsense. I've never seen Haru so freaked out and I have no idea how to calm her down. The only person who knows how to is beating someone up.

"Bahiyyih, Kai. How do you guys normally calm her down? I've never had to do this before.." I say, looking at them. They shake their heads and shrug, not knowing what to do. I sigh and think for a moment, trying to get any ideas. Then, something pops in my mind.

"Bahiyyih, Kai.. Take your hands off of her real quick I want to see something." They take their hands off and I also let go of her. I want to see what she does, if she does anything besides freak out. Maybe she'll do something that calms her down.

She seems to start panicking even more as no one is there to comfort her. She looks around at who's around her and she grabs onto me. I wasn't just a 'grab onto the arm' it was more like she wrapped her arms around my waist.

"So.. what was the point in that?" Bahiyyih asks me, confused with my actions. I look at her and respond with,

"Well, don't you think when someone is freaking out, they're gonna go to the person that comforts them the most or makes them feel better?" Bahiyyih and Kai smirk, knowing that Haru likes me. I roll my eyes and focus on Haru, looking at her habits. She seems to find that hugging someone she likes a lot is comforting. She also likes silence rather than people talking to her.

A couple a minutes later, Haru has fallen asleep on my shoulder while Felix has walked out with Hyunjin. Hyunjin had blood all over his fist from punching Beomgyu. I run my fingers through her hair, soothing her. I make sure to hide her face in case she wakes up. I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to see this.

Kai runs inside the house most likely check up on Beomgyu while Hyunjin must have realized what he'd done cause he looks like he's in shock. Felix continues to walk Hyunjin home so he can get cleaned up. It's probably best to take Haru home as well.

"Haru, let's go home." I say, standing up. I forgot she was sleeping, so she almost fell. I decided to pick her up bridal style and carry her home. Come to think of it.. why was Hyunjin attacking Beomgyu anyways? What made Hyunjin so angry that he would beat someone up?

I continue thinking and we eventually end up at the house.

I enter the house and go to Haru's room. I set Haru on her bed and wipe her face off. Her face glistens in the light because of her dry tears. I cover her up with the blanket and I give her a kiss on the forehead. I sit on her bed and take my phone out. I check on a couple of things before I get up to leave. When I was getting up to leave, I got held back by Haru's arms. They were still wrapped around my waist.

"Are we gonna do this again but reversed? Come on, let go. You need a break from today." I say, trying to take her hand off my arm. Okay she won't let go.. What do I do?

"Haru, please let go?..." I say, starting to questioning if she can even hear me. I sigh and Haru tugs really hard on my sleeve. I fall back and onto the bed right next to her.

"Okay.. I guess this is what you want. I'm too scared to try and leave.. so I'll just stay." I mutter, covering up and falling asleep next to Haru.

This is the end of chapter 28. Wow so much beating up. Who knew Hyunjin was so buff? BUFF BOI

But, maybe so cuddling next chapter?? :>
