Chapter 26

Hwang Haru's POV:

I was sitting here really embarrassed after my teacher saw my face. Of course he called Hyunjin (who really didn't care that I got into a fight.. besides the bruises and cuts) and made sure he'd 'discipline' me for bad behavior. As if Hyunjin is gonna do that.

The teacher finished being on the phone and he explained why I shouldn't fight random people. I haven't fought a random kid since.. Taehyun tripped me. Which was like a month ago. Wow a new record! The longest I've ever gone is half a week. Now it's a month!

"...so that is why you shouldn't fight random kids at the school Haru. You need to pass this grade and if you don't you have to retake it. We both know you don't want to do that." he finishes his lecture off with a sentence that I have heard every single day I got in a fight. Of course I didn't pay attention to him when I have better things to think of. Like.. Taehy-.. I mean Sunghoon from I-Land.. yeah Sunghoon.

I left the room completely ignoring the detention teacher. I really just wanted to go home. I was excited for no reason. I haven't been this excited to go home in a long time. I left the school grounds and got on my bike.

I got home and went inside. I was busting in excitement when I saw Hyunjin staring at the door.. I mean.. me. But he was probably staring at the door waiting for me to enter so he can then stare at me. That makes sense right?

But it low-key scared me so I closed the door and just stood there staring back at him.

"ARE YOU OKAY!? WHO DID YOU FIGHT? AND HOW DID THEY HURT YOU SO MUCH?!! YOU'VE NEVER GOTTEN THIS HURT FIGHTING SOMEONE MY CHILD GIVE ME HUGS ARE YOU OKAYYYYYYY!?!!?!?!" Hyunjin yelled in my ear, squishing me tight in a hug. Dang he screams loud..

"OMG SHUSH YES I'M OKAY AND I DIDN'T EVEN FIGHT ANYONE!" I yelled back at him. My statement did ABSOLUTY nothing. He continued yelling and squishing me. He was screaming so loud that he probably didn't even hear me. He's also really strong so even if I tried to push him off, I wouldn't be able to. I'm kinda being suffocated as well because his grip is so tight around my ribcage.

I felt Hyunjin walk away from me but he was still yelling..? But it slowly faded away completely and all I could hear were muffled screams. I opened my eyes (context: she had her eyes closed because she was extremely close to Hyunjin and being squished very tight) and saw Taehyun coming down the stairs. I quickly covered my face and refused to make eye contact.

Kang Taehyun's POV:

I hear a bunch of screaming which immediately made me exit my room. I see Hyunjin yelling and squishing someone.

"ARE YOU OKAY!? WHO DID YOU FIGHT? AND HOW DID THEY HURT YOU SO MUCH?!! YOU'VE NEVER GOTTEN THIS HURT FIGHTING SOMEONE MY CHILD GIVE ME HUGS ARE YOU OKAYYYYYYY!?!!?!?!" That was Hyunjin yelling.. He's really loud.. I think this is the loudest he's ever yelled.

"OMG SHUSH YES I'M OKAY AND I DIDN'T EVEN FIGHT ANYONE!" That was the person yelling back at them. I'm pretty sure it was Haru, so I drag Hyunjin all the way up the stairs. He just continues yelling. I let go of him once I get him in his room. I close the door and run  back downstairs.

As soon as Haru sees me, she covers the left half of her face. Again. I don't even get a glimpse of her beauty before she covers it up. I check the time real quick and see it's 5:10.

"Uh.. Haru, Hyunjin wanted me to uh, tell you that you need to be ready for the convenience store by 5:40 and be down there by 6:00.. Yeah.." I mumble, feeling nervous. I really hope she comes. I mean.. why wouldn't she? She thinks it's Hyunjin and she would never leave her 'brother' hanging right? I take a deep breath and waited for Haru to answer.

"Uhm. okay?.. Thanks I guess." She responds and quickly leaves to her room. I sigh and go to my room too.

Hwang Haru's POV:

"Uh.. Haru, Hyunjin wanted me to uh, tell you that you need to be ready for the convenience store by 5:40 and be down there by 6:00.. Yeah.." Taehyun mumbles just staring at me, his eyes full of anxiety and worry.

"Uhm. Okay?.. Thanks I guess." I said, quickly running to my room. I can't go. I don't wanna say no. Saying no is harder than not going. I go to the bathroom and quickly rinse my face off. I change my clothes into some cute pajamas.

Here are the pajamas I want her to wear:

I put the hood on and laid on my bed. I was really tired and excited to sleep. I checked the time and it's now 5:30 PM. I realized I was really hungry so I got on my phone and ordered some fried chicken. I was lazy and didn't feel like making food. I ordered half spicy and half normal. I put my phone down and sat there in boredom.

I heard the front door open and slam close as if they were in a rush. That must be 'Hyunjin'. I sat back in misery and guilt knowing that Taehyun would be devastated. I take a deep breath and see someone crack open my door.

It was Hyunjin. What was he doing? I don't know. Why was he doing this? I don't know that either.

Hyunjin entered my room, not noticing me on my bed. He turns his head towards me and he looked... worried?

"Haru.. Why didn't you go meet with Taehyun? Are you okay? Is something wrong..? I know you like him but why didn't you go?"
